Made some updates to my Cape Town Solar System Project.
Added a few more images to show the scale!
It's almost a decade since the idea first surfaced, anyone know anyone who can help us get something like this done?

The cumulative solar arrays that would power the world. Kinda weird that we haven't just done this yet.

Google just announced a seemingly innocuous technical change to how they render content in Docs, but in reality this is a watershed moment where democratic control over one of the most used applications is replaced with a centralised & obfuscated model 1/7

Just got smacked with a fine for obstruction of traffic on Tyrone in Parkview on a Sunday. What a waste of time @JoburgMPD! 12 cop cars! Great way to support your city while there's taxis getting away with murder!

At Udemy, we were 3 first-time entrepreneurs trying to raise seed capital. We made every mistake in the book.
We got 200+ no’s and wasted 12 months fundraising.
We eventually pulled through, just barely. 😅
This thread shares our mistakes as lessons for founders.

The home run theory of careers:
What matters is eventually hitting a home run, and the way to do that is training hard and a lot of at-bats. You only have to be right once, and it's ok to be wrong a lot of times.
Be bold. Move fast. Work hard. Ignore haters. Keep swinging.
We should have had a lockdown years ago with those kind of stats
Interesting stat! Currently #SouthAfrica's #COVID19 death rate per 100,000 people are 12.25. If it sounds low it is. Brazil is 41.8, Mexico 34.9 & Chile 49.1. That's however not interesting part. In 2016 SA deaths/100k people on roads were 25.9. Our murder rate last year was 36.4
