The stop-motion animation work behind LAIKA’s WILDWOOD (2026) is absolutely insane.
136 handcrafted sets, over 200 practical puppets and 49 animators working across 231 weeks, with some shots producing just 1–4 seconds of animation per week.

I feel like the same two "safe" personalities for a gay couple are being passed from cartoon to cartoon for the last decade. It doesn't matter what genre is or what the characters' names and designs are, it's the same pair.
I hope we can have different personalities someday.

Check this out: Mike Ditka in a game against the Steelers in 1963. This is honestly one of the best plays by a tight end in NFL history that very few people have ever seen. RIP Iron Mike.

NFL legend Mike Ditka, who revolutionized the tight end position before becoming the head coach of the world champion 1985 Bears and a towering figure in the city of Chicago, has passed away, his family announced. He was 86.
I’m unfortunately quite stellar at this.

“AI can process information quickly, but it cannot replace human intelligence. And don’t ask it to do your homework for you.” — Pope Leo XIV

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

I'm thrilled to announce that with the upcoming Spider-Man '94 Annual #1, I will be returning to the world of Spider-Man. After 30 years, I'm finally getting to resolve the ending of my iconic animated series and tell the story of Peter finding Mary Jane. I want to thank everyone involved at Marvel for making this possible, especially my editor, Danny Khazem. I was given free rein to tell the story that I've always wanted to tell, and it has been a real blast!

For the people making fun of Caleb for "crying over a hamstring"
He wasn't crying because his leg hurt, he was crying because he didn't know if he was going to be out for any length of time and he hates not being out there. That's why most of the guys who are crying on a cart are crying (during an adrenaline dump mind you).
These players like playing football, and don't want to stop playing football.
Bears QB Caleb Williams avoided any major injury to his hamstring Sunday, tests confirmed today — and the team isn’t even ruling him out for next Monday’s game against the Eagles, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
A massive sigh of relief in Chicago.
United 93 is probably in my top 10 films of all time and it’s probably the only one of those 10 I may never watch again. The film makes your heart break for those passengers in a real and devastating way.

Band of Brothers, a new epic WWII miniseries, premieres on HBO.
With a budget of $125 million, it is the most-expensive television miniseries ever made.
They're going to keep pushing him because Peter enters the public domain in 32 years while most of us will be long gone by the time its Miles' turn. They need Miles to succeed because Peter's soon going to be co-owned with the public even with trademarks being taken into account.
