One of the women in this viral video, identified as Murikupuri Joy Angel (23), reportedly lists her occupation as “Christian Religious Preaching” and her caste as “SC–Madiga.”
Para 3 of the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order, 1950, issued under Article 341(1), expressly excludes persons professing Christianity from Scheduled Caste recognition.
If she professes Christianity and holds an SC certificate, the District Collector must examine her eligibility and initiate appropriate proceedings for cancellation.

Two men have been arrested by Hyderabad's Meerpet police after a video showing two Christian women being slapped and verbally abused went viral.
The women were accused of attempting religious conversion by offering chocolates to schoolchildren. They denied the allegations and said they had visited the area to meet their aunt.
Police registered a case and are investigating the incident.
