The Neon Gutter

Hey- these apartments used to be old Vegas motels. On Las Vegas Boulevard across from The STRAT, I spotted The BLVD Boutique Apartments. Living right across from The STRAT would be pretty cool. From the outside, these look a little more upscale than the typical Budget Suites or Siegel Suites. I checked the rents: unfurnished studios start at $945 a month, with furnished options starting at $1,115, before utilities. They advertise renovated kitchens, a pool and a gym. This neighborhood earned a rough reputation over the decades, but places like this show money going back into these older buildings. I’ve always liked Vegas’s furnished apartments. Places like this have an artsy, bohemian feel to me—like somewhere a writer, painter or musician would live in old New York, with the energy of Vegas right outside the door. #LasVegas #VegasHistory #NakedCity #VegasLiving #TheSTRAT
