GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

This is Ekiti, a stunning blend of morning mist over ancient mountains, smooth roads opening up new opportunities, and a rich culture driving every bit of our growth.
Beyond the beautiful landscapes, it is our heritage and our unstoppable drive for progress that truly define who we are. Experience the heartbeat of a state on the move.

Only you served in IMO, same you Anambra
And you are a Muslim. Your pray 5 times a-day.
You no even fear God.
Olosi Opuro omo ofo.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I served in Anambra State, Ekwusugo LGA to be precise. The functional banks in Anambra are located in four towns: Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, and IHIALA. Other towns have no banks or only non-functional ones.
Once you leave Onitsha, you’d barely see functional banks until you get to IHIALA. The distance from Onitsha to IHIALA is like traveling from the mainland to Island
In Ekiti State, towns like Efon Alaye, Aramoko, Iyin, Oye, Ado, Ikere, etc., have functional banks.
Also, banks are strategic in where they establish branches. If a location is prone to illegal activities (robbery, k!dnapping, etc) , they won’t open a branch in that location.
Banks will consider opening a branch in Ekiti towns rather than in Anambra because Ekiti is 70% peaceful and easier for doing business.

Which Ekiti? I ask again….
It’s been a hell of a week, with work and other engagements taking up most of my time. However, I have been following the conversations around Ekiti over the last few days, and I think it is important to put a few things in perspective.
There have been several attempts to discredit Ekiti State and its good people over the last few days, particularly following the recent data released by StatiSense.
Interestingly, while some have chosen to turn the conversation into an opportunity to attack the state, the figures tell a different story.
According to StatiSense's 2026 Investment and Enterprise Score, Ekiti ranks 6th nationally, with a score of 48.2 out of 100, ahead of several states, including Oyo and Osun.
We must learn to separate constructive criticism from attempts to misrepresent a state and its people. No state is without its challenges, and there is always room for improvement. However, the progress, opportunities and potential of Ekiti should not be overlooked, especially considering that it is one of the youngest states in the country.
Ekiti is rising, and the conversation about its future must go beyond social media trends. The state will continue to move forward, whether anyone likes it or not.
Bro! The state is underdeveloped. Like mahn 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Please how’s Ekiti better now than it was years ago? Come on. Stop being a hypocrite.
Interestingly, none of the so-called trolls had much to say when Ekiti celebrated its 30th anniversary. I was privileged to serve on the panel discussing education and charting a course for the next 30 years of our state.
If you genuinely love Ekiti, do not be blind to the progress being made. We can acknowledge the challenges, demand more from our leaders and still give credit where it is due.
Loving Ekiti should mean wanting it to succeed, not looking for every opportunity to run it down.
There’s Aramoko before Igede, and Igede before Iyin. Could you please make the video of those roads before this particular road that ends at the roundabout near Pavilion?
I have my PVC, and I will vote for whoever I believe is the best choice for Nigeria.
Everyone else should be free to vote for whoever they believe is best for the country, too.
That’s the beauty of democracy. Respect everyone’s choice.
It’s as simple as ABC! 🇳🇬
