You never question our friendship or complain that they are attacking the candidates I support. But the moment I criticise Seyi Makinde and his lackey, Bimbo Adekanmbi, which I do sparingly, some of you suddenly become concerned about why they are my friends and how they can still be cool with me. So, it is perfectly fine for my friends to attack my candidates, but a problem arises when I occasionally criticise theirs? Some of you are nothing but hypocrites, dullards with just a sprinkle of exposure. You mistake your double standards for intelligence, and it is embarrassing.

One thing I value greatly when dealing with vendors is reliability. I woke up this morning and met my Lagos vendor already working on the job he promised to conclude this morning. I asked why he wasn’t caught up in the Lagos-Ibadan traffic. His response was that he left very early because he had planned his journey around the traffic and was determined to be here to deliver as agreed. He could easily have used the traffic as an excuse. I might even have understood. But he didn’t even give himself the opportunity to make excuses. He planned his movement, left early, showed up and got straight to work. No story. No excuse. This is the kind of vendor I can recommend anytime, any day. If you say you will deliver, deliver. That simple.
