Replying to @PolitlcsUK
Labour has just committed another £10 BILLION of Your money to Ukraine, bringing total UK commitments to around £35 BILLION.
That’s approximately £1,207 per British household!
So next time you’re standing in the supermarket, wondering whether you can afford a little treat, ask yourself this:
Can you afford the equivalent of £23 a week in UK commitments to Ukraine?
That’s what £1,207 works out to over a year.
Meanwhile, British families struggle with rising bills, taxes and crumbling public services.
Whose interests is this government putting first?

FUCKING HELL ANDY, YOU ABSOLUTE VISIONARY!!
People are struggling to afford petrol, families are watching every penny, and filling your car up now requires a small mortgage and a letter of permission from your bank manager. But fear not, ladies and gentlemen, because Andy Burnham has come riding over the horizon like a financially responsible Batman. His master plan?! GOOGLE FUCKING MAPS !! That’s right. Not cheaper fuel. Not a reduction in fuel duty. Not anything that actually makes the bastard stuff more affordable. No. He’s proudly announcing that we can now look at a little map and see WHICH petrol station is going to financially bum us the gentlest. GROUNDBREAKING STUFF THIS !! And the best bit? Google Maps has been showing fuel prices in various places for YEARS. So he’s effectively stood up, puffed his chest out and announced the invention of something that’s already bloody existed. What’s next, Andy?! A revolutionary new device that tells us when it’s raining? A calculator to help us discover we’re fucking skint? Perhaps a mirror so we can watch ourselves ageing while waiting for politicians to do something useful? I don’t need a map to tell me petrol is expensive, Andy. I’ve got a fucking bank account!
At this rate, next week’s big announcement will be that he’s discovered you can save money on your electricity bill by TURNING THE FUCKING LIGHTS OFF. Honestly, we’ve got people running this country who’d turn up to a house fire, hand you a thermometer and congratulate themselves for helping you understand the temperature.
ABSOLUTE FUCKING GENIUS!! Fuck my life !

Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the Downing Street.
One is from London, another is from Birmingham and the third is from Manchester.
All three go with a Downing Street official to examine the fence.
The London contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil.
"Well," he says, "I figure the job will run about £900. £400 for materials, £400 for my crew, and £100 profit for me."
The Birmingham contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says,
"I can do this job for £700. £300 for materials, £300 for my crew, and £100 profit for me."
The Manchester contractor doesn't measure or figure, but leans over to the Downing Street official and whispers, "£2,700."
The official, incredulous, says, "You didn't even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?"
The Manchester contractor whispers back, "£1000 for me, £1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Birmingham to fix the fence."
"Done!" replies the government official. And that, my friends, is how our government works.
It may be funny but, sadly, it's also very accurate.

▪️£4 billion a year on asylum hotels and support.
▪️Another £15 billion a year of public money on Net Zero.
▪️Another £3 billion a year given to Ukraine.
▪️Another £6 billion wasted in a single fiscal year from cancelled government funded projects and asset retirements.
That’s £28 billion of taxpayer cash in a single year.
We can’t keep the lights on in hospitals, fail to support our farmers, veterans wait years for housing, potholes have their own postcodes and the road drains aren’t regularly cleaned. But we’ve always got another few billion for illegal migrant hotels no one asked for and a climate target that accounts for less than 1% of global emissions while China opens another coal plant.
Fiscal responsibility, they call it.
The rest of us just call it setting fire to the country and calling it policy.
The national conversation should move from how much tax we should pay and towards what the government is spending our tax money on.

Prime Minister Andy Burnham says it's "hard to conclude that Daniel Thomas is anything other than someone who has racist views," directly attacking the Patriot Platform founder known as Danny Tommo.
Tommo pleaded not guilty this week to criminal damage over the alleged slashing of a boat in the Channel while an emergency responder was aboard.
A sitting Prime Minister just branded a man racist in public while his case is still active and unresolved. Make of that what you will.

🎙️🚨 THE MEDICALISATION OF WRONGTHINK — AND A SPEED AWARENESS COURSE FOR YOUR THOUGHTS!
Animal rights campaigner Anneka Svenska had two police officers turn up at her door and tell her to accept a police record, attend an “online thinking” course or face arrest over comments she made on social media about the incineration of beagles at a company that breeds dogs for use in medical research.
They threatened to arrest her under Section 179 of the Online Safety Act unless she accepted these conditions.
Thankfully, Anneka refused to accept the “community resolution disposal”, which would have remained on her police record. After she engaged a lawyer, the case was dropped.
This thinking course is deeply sinister. It is essentially a combination of a speed awareness course for your thoughts and a therapy session aimed at changing the way people think.
It is the medicalisation of wrongthink. And it isn’t free: one police force charges £175 to attend.
As FSU Director of Policy and Research @DavidRoseUK explains in the latest episode of the FSU Podcast, this is reminiscent of the Soviet Union, where dissidents were sent to psychiatric hospitals.

Romania held an election. Then Europe held a meeting.
Georgescu won the first round. Wrong answer. Two days before the runoff, the court annulled the whole thing. Later they barred him.
Officials called it “protecting democracy.”
In plainer speech: the voters were in error, and the paperwork would be corrected.
A NATO member voided its own first round because the count embarrassed the project.
Then they asked to be congratulated for courage.
If our democracy requires a backup election whenever the first one misbehaves, we do not have voters.
We have extras.
The audacity of the same Europeans who cheered for elections being cancelled in Romania due to results that didn't satisfy Brussels now talking about "sham" elections in Russia is laughable.
Look at the bright side. People in the former Ukrainian territories in Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye oblasts finally had an opportunity to vote for the first time in almost eight years.

An investigation conducted by the Pentagon revealed that the missile strike carried out by U.S. forces on February 28th against a primary school in Minab (Iran), which resulted in the deaths of 123 children, was the result of a series of errors, according to Bloomberg.
These included:
* Outdated intelligence data that still classified the school as a facility of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
* Tight deadlines, as the administration demanded over 1000 strikes within 24 hours.
* Excessive reliance on the Maven artificial intelligence system from Palantir (which employees mistakenly believed was capable of identifying outdated data).
* A 90% reduction in funding for groups working to prevent civilian casualties, implemented by Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth.
A UN report published this week indicated that these errors "went beyond negligence" and could constitute war crimes.
The Pentagon's investigation was actually completed several months ago, but its findings have not yet been published. Washington has not yet publicly acknowledged its responsibility.
