Jack Antonoff tells Ed Sheeran to “stand the f*ck up” after Macklemore was fired from his tour for showing support to Palestine:
“it’s not in any way a strange, uncomfortable or controversial thing to say [Free Palestine], it’s a deeply human thing to say. If you think it is [controversial] you’re lost in some other sauce that is so crazy. They’re going to let some f*cking promoter tell me what I can say? Don’t book me. I’ll play for free outside. [Ed Sheeran] missed a massive, beautiful opportunity there: just cancel the whole fucking tour, then play for free outside each venue, raise a bunch of money, rather than let a fucking billionaire tell you what to do. The reason it’s not an anomaly or niche issue is because we all live in a world where billionaires are constantly telling us what to do. So stand the f*ck up.”

If you liked I Saw the Devil, start with these three. 1. Revenge (2017, France): Your thirst for revenge will cost you everything you once were
2. The Golden Glove (2019, Germany): One man's obsessive hunt for a killer hollows him out completely
3. Creepy (2016, Japan): Chasing a psychopath, you lose sight of who you used to be

Majority Report is a garbage show staffed by smug liberals who condescend and lie to their audience. Stop watching this garbage. Also, who is the off-camera shy guy calling a viewer an "idiot" and to "fuck off" because they expressed a view that hurt his feelings?

The wife of prominent Sydney Rabbi Yossi Friedman comments that say “No innocent people in Gaza and don't care at all what happens to any of them”.
This is Zionism, it is a racist and genocidal ideology!

Gaza is in catastrophe; a third famine is beginning. The crossings have been closed for some time, preventing the entry of flour and food supplies. Gaza is descending into extreme poverty.

New Zealand horror carries a weight mainland genre films rarely achieve. The land itself becomes a character, and the coast, the bush, the inherited property all hold a reckoning that cannot be renovated away.

I spent three years watching the horror of Gaza, three years writing about it, and three years protesting it.
NAZA does none of that. It's an updating of the famous Milgram experiment in social obedience. It's a foretaste of the terrifying dangers of the AI rollout. And it's a case study in the human capacity for evil.
If you want more of the *what* of Gaza, NAZA will disappoint. If you want the *why*, seek it out.

Please keep giving. The situation is just as dark as it has been.
Many bakeries in Gaza are closed and if flour doesn’t come in, the Strip will run out of flour within days. Prices are hiking in the market, please help urgently: chuffed.org/project/help-us-…

lmao….not Zadie Smith signing this Sally Rooney letter as if we don’t all remember Smith’s 2024 @newyorker essay criticizing pro-Palestinian student protestors when it actually mattered. girl, pls, try cleansing your soul some other way🙄
OPEN LETTER: Sally Rooney is a writer, not a terrorist. Her books must be available to the public. Their withdrawal from sale, on the basis of ill-conceived and draconian anti terror legislation, is an affront to basic principles of free speech and expression so long taken for granted in this country. We categorically reject censorship - whether direct or indirect - and urge the government to change course, amending the legislation which has led us to this point of repressive absurdity.

We take so much for granted. The little things we provide for our children, grandchildren, younger siblings, and neighbors. Even something as simple as a movie night.
Support Gaza today: chuffed.org/project/113222-t…
Think about the cartoons and animated movies you grew up watching. The characters, songs, and stories you still remember decades later. These are childhood memories that stay with us.
Children in Gaza have been deprived of these simple joys. No electricity, no television screens, certainly no movie theaters. Their childhoods have been consumed by displacement, destruction, and survival.
So we brought the cinema to them!!
On October 17, The Sameer Project collaborated with a Jaber Thabet and his team in Gaza to organize a mobile cinema at Al-Karama Camp in Al-Bureij, giving displaced children an evening of cartoons, music, laughter, and a chance to just be kids.
If you support the idea of these joyful kids deserving a childhood filled with memories worth keeping then help us accomplish this and donate to our General Fund: chuffed.org/project/113222-t…
