🚨 INVESTIGATE, ARREST, AND PROSECUTE STONEBWOY NOW!!
Hello, Bank of Ghana (@thebankofghana) and Ghana Police Service (@GhPoliceService),
I call on you to investigate and, where the evidence supports it, arrest and prosecute Stonebwoy for allegedly violating the laws protecting the Ghanaian cedi, including the Bank of Ghana Act, 2002 (Act 612) and the Currency Act, 1964 (Act 242).
In a video circulating online, (As posted below) Stonebwoy is seen throwing Ghana cedi notes upon his arrival in Sogakope on November 7, 2026.
According to a Bank of Ghana notice dated July 14, 2026, the improper treatment of the national currency is an offence under Ghanaian law.
On October 6, 2026, seven individuals were reportedly arrested over similar alleged violations.
The law must apply equally to everyone, regardless of status or celebrity.
Stonebwoy should also be investigated, and appropriate action taken if a violation is established.
