As expected Adam Wharton will make the expanded England group today. He continues to be on the radar of clubs at home and abroad, notably Bayern Munich, so it will be interesting to see how he performs with the national team.

Understand initial Cameron Archer discussions between #AVFC and #Boro have taken place. Villa highly likely to move Archer on and Boro keen on bringing him back. Good relationship with clubs' management teams too.

As we expected Boehly's preferred appointment is a young project manager, with McKenna in the box seat should he want the move. De Zerbi looks highly unlikely, and Amorim sounded out but looks set to stay put following his Hammers faux pas.
