I don’t think people understand how important Van Hecke and Kinsky both are in terms of Tottenham’s decent defensive record. The best defense is keeping the ball. Both of them are able to play out of high pressure situations. They do so exceptionally well. Just top. Integral to the system. And Van De Ven compliments them perfectly, allowing them to take more risks.

Don't think the 'pass & move' game has ever been so important than it is today. It feels like every good team, at the moment, is class at rotating positions, running off markers and finding spaces. You hear 'wide triangles' a lot but what makes them effective is the mobility within the rotation. It's one of the main reasons I think Brighton have been so good this season too.
