Why is the media calling SB3 a safety class when it doesn't even teach you how to use the firearm? 12 hours of pure propaganda!
Let's be honest! It's an expensive hurdle that only the wealthy with time can achieve, and Sullivan and his little Everytown and Giffords cronies knew that.
Danish state just paid out millions of kroner in compensation to children under 18 who suffered severe injuries from the Covid vaccine. Danish doctor calls the whole campaign to vaccinate children "a mistake". Remember when this discussion was verboten? dr.dk/nyheder/indland/det-va…

They barely hide it anymore. This isn't about "common sense" measures. The NFA registration process has what they demand. Background check, registration, plenty of paperwork. People with NFA-registered items almost never commit crimes.
Yet they are STILL mad. Why? Because the process is now faster. Their demand is not simply licensing measures; they want it to arbitrarily take a long time, so less people exercise their rights.
Everything they argue should be interpreted through that lens. These are people who want to ban all guns, and failing that, they want to make guns harder and more of a pain to get.
Everytown complains that the ATF is approving so many NFA forms this year: smokinggun.org/trumps-atf-bo…

Colorado Teacher REFUSED to allow a 7th grader to present her pro-life slam poetry submission because it’s “offensive” and might make kids feel “unsafe.”
Some examples of accepted topics in the class are slamming the 2nd amendment, mocking Jesus, and lgbtq rights.
Staff admitted that the poem met all the requirements however couldn’t be read out loud because it’s “politically charged.”
The teacher also initially tried kicking this 13-year-old girl out of class during the poem presentations but allowed her to stay after pushback.
We spoke with the mother and daughter who shared their story and with us and why being pro-life is so personal to them.
This happened at Drake Middle School in @JeffcoSchoolsCo.

Just sued Denver. How’s your day going?
I’ve directed the @CivilRights Division, through our new Second Amendment Section, to defend law-abiding Americans from unconstitutional restrictions. No one should face criminal penalties simply for exercising a right shared by tens of millions—regardless of where they live.

The Supreme Court just granted cert in another gun case!!! They will be ruling on whether a state can presumptively ban all carry in private businesses unless the business affirmatively grants permission. @gunrights filed a supporting brief in this case.

This local news segment is funny because Sheriff Luna ADMITS they have been making people wait too long, while in their official PR statements, they are denying that.
He says:
"I wish we didn't have to make people wait too long, but we've got to do it right, I don't want to be issuing CCWs to people who shouldn't have them."

If y'all pass an "assault weapons" ban in Minnesota, all the gun groups will sue you so hard before the ink on the governor's signature is dry. Why? MN is in the 8th Circuit, where we have a STRONG chance of knocking down your gun ban and creating a circuit split.

Eager to see which of the gun control groups is first to complain about the Trump DOJ suing Los Angeles for taking over a year to issue CCW permits.
You know, because they totally don't oppose the right to bear arms and they just want common sense!

Unfortunately, we celebrated too soon. The Secretary of State has ruled that the vacancy committee was not properly called for House District 14 because there was not a ten day notice (local vs. state rules). As a result, there must be a redo. The new meeting will be Saturday morning, October 11th.
This is disappointing, but mistakes happen. I'm ready to go through the vacancy process again and continue to present my vision of a Republican Party that bands together to fight the left, rather than each other.
To the vacancy committee members: I would be honored to have your support. I know there are things you would rather do instead of attend a vacancy committee meeting, let alone for the second time. I will strive to be a representative who makes you proud to have taken the time to participate.

Permit now expired despite my renewal application being submitted in early July. No call or email yet. LASD is denying me any legal avenue to a constitutional right.
This is a great example of why Bruen's footnote 9 is such nonsense. Whenever the Supreme Court creates a small carveout to be "reasonable," the antigun states and judges drive a truck through it.
My CCW permit issued by the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department expires in two days. I applied for a renewal about 80 days ago, but it has not been processed even though all requested documents have been submitted, with the final training certificates being submitted about 36 days ago.
Because California does not recognize any other state's permits like my Arizona one, and because California has no provision automatically extending CCW permit validity while a renewal application is processed, I will have no legal avenue to carry until LASD finally gets around to processing my renewal.
I am not the first person to deal with this, as many others have had their permits lapse for several weeks while they wait on a renewal. It's just another aspect of LASD's ridiculous wait times issues, which are being litigated in CRPA v. LASD. I am just speaking up about it because I have a slightly bigger platform than most.
If LASD can't get its house in order even years after Bruen, the absolute least Sheriff Luna could do is put out a statement saying that if you applied for a renewal on time, then your existing permit is extended until the new permit is either issued, or the renewal application is denied. Perhaps that is against state law, but who cares— LASD doesn't seem to care about the state law setting time limits for CCW permit processing, so why suddenly care what state law says when it is convenient?
I sent an email to the CCW unit a few days ago politely expressing my concerns about this:
Hello CCW unit team,
My CCW permit expires on September 27. I submitted the training documents over a month ago, both here and on the website. I am concerned I will effective lose my right to carry for an unknown period of time while I await the renewed permit.
Can I do anything to help speed things up?
I will be out of town Thursday through Sunday, but could pick up a renewed permit either tomorrow or anytime next week.
I received the following response:
"You will be contacted when your file has been approved and we are ready to issue your license."
Some "right to carry," huh?
I did everything I could to carry legally, through California's permit system, and LASD's incompetence and refusal to address their backlog issues is delaying that permit.

Before the pandemic, Denver was generating 20k new jobs a year
Now we're losing 10k jobs/yr
Like how CO's economic growth went from top 5 (2008-2023) to bottom 10 (2024)
It all lines up with growing far left influence in Denver... it's apparently the only thing growing here

Today, the ATF will digitize a whole slew of form 4473s. The current contract to scan and digitize these forms was awarded by the Biden admin, but it's continued unchecked to this day. It was a registry before, but can you imagine what it'll become with AI if it's not stopped?
The ATF has a secret contract with a vendor to digitize MILLIONS of legacy gun purchase records to build an illegal NATIONAL GUN REGISTRY.
This ATF contract for “Data Entry and Imaging Services” was put to bid back in 2022 and awarded in 2024. It is now active.
State Delegate Chris Anders has introduced a bill to ban the creation of any gun registry in West Virginia, punish those who help create it, and mandate the West Virginia Attorney General sue the federal government to put a stop to the registry once and for all.
We need your help to bring this story to national attention, and shut down this illegal registry scheme once and for all. Sign the petition below!
