It’s a pretty jarring day waking up and seeing last night’s election results. If you’re someone who still believes in President Trump, I’m sure you’re feeling concerned and maybe even a little scared. So let me make this clear: We are going to eat you.

Seeing so many firsts for a country that likes "liberating" other countries I'm happy for them but it's shocking 💀
Chris Pappas has won the U.S. Senate election in New Hampshire. He becomes the first openly gay man elected to the U.S. Senate.

Legitimate question: If you live in the U.S, why the fuck do you interfere in politics abroad?

A small reflection: I wore this tshirt out in Birmingham last night. Had 9 seperate people come up and say they liked it. 8 cis women, 1 drag queen! Offline, away from this hellsite, women are the biggest allies.
Hope this doesn't scare the BBC... 👻

For the billionth fucking time, the rest of the world doesn’t have the luxury of ignoring your politics when your government keeps meddling in ours. That’s the consequence of being an interventionist power

I do actually believe this. People starting realizing they could ask more from their elected officials and expect it. He truly brewed hope amongst the working class.
The entire Democratic Party owes a massive debt of gratitude to Zohran Mamdani. Before his rapid rise, the party was largely rudderless, suffering from a loss of direction, momentum, and self-confidence. By drifting away from the working class, the party naturally saw voters walk away in response. Mamdani single-handedly corrected the course, bringing vital energy, ideological clarity, and an authentic connection back to the very people who had been left behind. Without his influence, the party’s current standing would look very different.

If there’s one thing I want Muslims to take away from the winning of Zohran Mamdani and Abdul-Sayed is that Islam’s most compelling argument is working for the welfare of all people. Let’s get back to charity work for the sake of helping people not making our pockets fat.

It’s because men are socialized being allowed to take up space. This includes noise making. Also, the gym used to be a manly man space so the homosocial rituals established over decades involve performances around displays of strength & masculine excess.
I always think it's funny that women can lift heavy in complete silence but men always need to be hootin and hollerin for some reason

Being able to witness this after the global islamophobic propaganda since 2001 is insane to me
For the first time in US history, the country has both a Muslim mayor and senator.
