Tony Wilson. A man whose belief in Manchester, our people, music, and our potential helped changed the way the world saw our city. Broadcaster. Cultural catalyst. Founder of Factory Records. A champion of ideas, creativity and the unconventional. And someone who understood that Manchester should never be afraid to do things differently. Tony’s influence remains woven into the fabric of our city and our cultural identity. Remembering Tony Wilson who passed away 10th August 2007. Manchester would not be Manchester without him. 💛🐝 #thisismcr #thisismanchester #tonywilson
