Wisconsin’s lowest-earning households pay over 10% of their income in state and local taxes, while the richest pay just 6.6%. Our plan shifts more of the burden to the wealthy and big corporations to lower property taxes and fund public services. Here's how it works:

🚨 NEW POLICY: TAX THE RICH 🚨 Working families keep Wisconsin running. But our current system is squeezing the people who can least afford it and handing free money to the people who need it least. We have a plan to rebalance the scales and invest in Wisconsin.

The reason why I’m voting for Hong despite her electability concerns is that I actually think she’s the most electable candidate in the primary simply due to her opponents Just being honest, Crowley or Barnes do not seem like they’re serious candidates at all
If I lived in Wisconsin, I would probably vote for Hong at this point What a mess

Teaching in Racine, I see how systemic economic stress impacts our kids before they even walk through the door. @FrancescaHongWI ’s platform goes beyond incremental fixes to target root causes. My latest on why I'm voting Hong on August 11th: open.substack.com/pub/samwun…

This dude had no on-the-ground support, dropped out, and had to wait for the other two candidates ahead of him to face controversy for the party elites to airlift him back to relevance. Tiffany will crush him. At this point, if you choose anyone but Hong, youre inviting disaster.
Centrists will look at this graph and say @FrancescaHongWI is unelectable.

Leftists are calling on Progressive ally in congress Mark Pocan to endorse Francesca Hong in the Wisconsin governor's race.
To WI voters: Everyone breath. Nothing about @TomTiffanyWI has changed. Awful voting record in a year House GOP running for higher office not doing so well. Unimpressive energy. Dems are ready to fight Trump & his ilk. Too much is at stake. Read a book. Take a walk. Breath.

God I’m so sick of this. If you lack vision fine. But stop ignoring the reality right in front of you *and* insulting hard working young candidates. Hong has built a massively successful field operation. If you don’t know how that can *help* in a general, maybe you shouldn’t be in politics. There haven’t been a lot of polls here, but she’s polling just fine in the general.
#WisconsinGovernor Politico: One Wisconsin Democratic state lawmaker, granted anonymity to speak candidly, said this regarding Francesca Hong: “It’s scary to think that this is the person who is leading the primary … There’s a lot of us that think if she’s the nominee, we lose that seat, even in what’s supposed to be a very big Dem year. And we will lose the Assembly, too.”

If you got mad at Anita Sarkeesian in 2014, you’re one of the biggest, softest losers who ever lived. If you’re still mad about Anita Sarkeesian twelve years later, buddy—
its crazy that she actually ruined video games permanently

I feel like everyone is sleeping on just how much the national political landscape will change drastically if Fran Hong can win her gubernatorial election in WI. Could be looking at this being “the death-nail” of the neoliberal order of the Democratic Party the past 40 years
What will the implications if any be going into 2028 if Abdul El-Sayed, Francesca Hong, and Graham Platner all win their races?

I would rather starve to death than work for the company that made the rocket that killed this child, and I don’t understand anybody who doesn’t feel the same way
What can you even say at this point.

Pearl and Greg from Steve Universe have such an awkward beautiful weird relationship and I love it so much. The trope of love triangles, especially ones where two people "compete" for the same beautiful "perfect" woman has been done so many times but they make it feel so unique.

Sorry for the poor quality (I had to zoom for spoiler reasons) but I love how on the official timeline Rebecca Sugar made sure to indicate the exact point Rose and Pearl start fucking like college freshman.

Oh your fandoms dying without new content? The Star Trek fandom will outlive the sun. We have more fics about two characters who don't even exist in the same timeline or universe than you do for your otp.
