The most disappointing thing about this are the differences in replies from X and Threads to this post about the nanotexture display for the Apple iPad Mini. The number of people that think nanotexture is just a screen protector and to buy one on Amazon because it’s the same thing is…revealing. So many confidently wrong people over there on Threads.

I’m not shy about saying that the number one smartphone camera to continually keep an eye on comes from Vivo. They’re doing things with their cameras that are truly incredible, thoughtful, and matches what a real photographer would want. The vibe and image you get is incredible. That’s why I’m so excited for the new Vivo X500 Pro Max, their latest non-ultra flagship smartphone made in partnership with ZEISS. What’s even better is that I have the photography kit, so I’m going to have FUN. The Vivo X500 Pro max has a 6.85” LTPO AMOLED display, an adaptive 144Hz screen, and goes up to 4,400 nits of peak brightness. It has a 50MP camera for all cameras, including the selfie camera, but the telephoto camera goes up to 200MP. It’s powered by the super fast MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, and has a MASSIVE 8,000 mAh silicon Carbon battery. The photography kit is pretty amazing. It comes with a case, different adapter rings so you can mount filters onto it, or the most exciting thing, the telephoto lenses. There are two, one is a 2.35x telephoto lenses, and the other is a 4.7x 400m equivalent lens. Absolutely crazy! Add in the camera grip handle with controls and charging, and the strap, and you have an amazing photography setup for on the go. I think I’m going to have to take this on my trip to Japan at the end of December and see how it performs. 👀

What’s funny about Instagram adding long-form video and reels that link to the long form is the complete lack of any sort of monetization. Why should I post my long form there? What benefit does it bring me? I can’t even post links in my content to make affiliate income unless I PAY you to post a LIMITED number of links. I can’t get ad share revenue. You want more but don’t give anything in return. Reels is all that is needed to do fine with brands and general audiences. I see no point in posting long form.

This is unfortunate. In order to get the new Apple iPad Mini A20 with the Nanotexture display, you have to upgrade the storage in order to have the OPTION to get it. So instead of it being $699 ($799 with the upgraded display), it ends up being $899. Woof.

Live actions are still broken on the Apple iPhone 18 Pro. I’m not in seat 2. I’m in 20. I think cramming more than two things into live actions is a bad idea. It’s too much. I know it’s probably a dev issue for these third-party apps, but it’s still an issue.

Matte is in! From foldables, laptops, and tablets, I’m a fan! Now I have my own Amazon Alexa Tablet 12 Pro in with a bunch of fun accessories and that awesome nanomatte display. It honestly looks and feels great, especially when you write on it with the stylus that easily mounts and charges to the top of the tablet with magnets! This is easily the most powerful, fastest, smoothest, most capable, and refined tablet from Amazon yet. You have the full Google Play store and a ton of features built-in that help you to stay and be productive, from software like the Amazon Alexa+ integration throughout, to the hardware like the folio keyboard. It’s so nice to have this with me around the house to watch content on, and just work on things without having something big and heavy or something that takes up tons of room. It’s really the perfect casual powerhouse for me around the house.

I just heard that Bose is buying Skullcandy, so it’s a perfect time to look at the Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC, which has some Bose tech inside. It has some neat controls on it that I like, but it is very Skullcandy in sound. When I say that I mean it has a massive BBL. A big bass lift! What were you thinking?? There’s a LOT of bass, and if you want more bass, you can get even more. It’s actually comical. So if you’re a bass head, this delivers, plus some added Bose tech built in for ANC and more. It’s not my personal taste, but if you like BBL, this is for you. 😅
