John Healey celebrates with a pint after a Budget that will put 2p on the price of every one sold in the pub, finds £10bn more for Ukraine, allocates £150m for more asylum accommodation sites, and leaves an unreformed benefits system set to hit £431bn. Working people get squeezed by stagnant living standards and higher taxes and those who don’t work continue to get more and more support.
What is there to celebrate? Growth cut to just 1%, finances tighter, and the hard choices pushed into next year. 🤷‍♂️
Soon the only people who can still afford a pint will be those on benefits, while the people who actually go out and earn the money that pays for it continue to be overlooked and squeezed for every last drop.
Labour, once the party of working people, or at least once claimed to be, now openly celebrates a Budget that shafts them.

John Healey’s statement shows just how out of touch this government really is.
We don’t want to continue committing billions upon billions of taxpayer money to foreign wars when we have several glaring problems here at home!
This is the same man who quit as Defence Secretary try because of insufficient defence spending.
Now like every Chancellor before him, Healey filches from our pockets to fill the coffers of a corrupt coke addict, failed comic, and blood money launderer.
The West pursues war instead of peace and forces the innocent taxpayer to fund it.

The NHS in England is now paying out a staggering ÂŁ3.24 BILLION a year in clinical negligence compensation and legal fees.
That’s nearly £9 MILLION EVERY SINGLE DAY, enough to build roughly SIX new hospitals every year.
Behind these eye-watering figures lies a catalogue of medical incompetence, institutional wokeisim, avoidable errors and failures in patient care.
It's probably just a coincidence that their HR policy is to recruit people from the Third World with fake medical qualifications who can't speak English.
