Financial management is basically about three things: making money, keeping money and multiplying money. If you can crack the code then you are on your way to wealth.

European countries with better quality of life than Nigeria are protesting over increased cost of living while some Nigerians are still going to vote for this same government and some are even praying 🤦

Nigeria's biggest problem isn't simply corruption. It's the absence of consequences. Corruption thrives where accountability is optional, injustice becomes normalised, and power provides immunity.

Corruption is not just about stolen public funds; it is about hospitals that cannot save lives, schools that cannot educate children, roads that endanger commuters, opportunities that never exist and entire generations forced to live below their potential. When you trivialise corruption, you are essentially trivialising the suffering of millions of people whose lives are directly affected by it. At some point, you have to question whether it is ignorance, intellectual dishonesty or a complete absence of critical thinking. Because there is no way you can understand the consequences of corruption and still find excuses for it.
It's crazy that people are on this app trying to downplay the impact of corruption. Not even kids, but experienced adults who should know better. It's one or all of ignorance, foolishness or just plain dishonesty.

I just need Nigerians to understand that ultimately, power resides with the people. But that power is only meaningful when we are willing to exercise it. One of the most fundamental ways to do that is by embracing our civic responsibility and showing up in our numbers to vote. We cannot keep surrendering that power through apathy and then wonder why things remain the way they are.

Nigeria needs leaders who understand that power is a responsibility, not a reward. Let competence, experience and people power define our next chapter.

The same political establishment has governed Lagos for almost 30 years, yet look at the condition of Nigeria’s highest internally generated revenue state. Yesterday, on my way to Lekki, it started raining. Within minutes, everywhere started flooding. Watching it happen in real time was jarring. The report card is giving F9

Finland consistently ranks among the happiest and safest countries in the world. Finland has 7 billionaires. The Finnish people tend not to obsess over private wealth because the strong social safety net ensures that basic dignity, healthcare, and schooling are guaranteed for everyone regardless of private fortunes. That's a system that works.
“If you have money, you will enjoy Nigeria” is classism to me. All of us should be able to enjoy it,broke or not.

We have normalised hardship to the point where expecting a decent standard of living is sometimes treated as entitlement. There is nothing wrong with wanting life to be easier, safer and more comfortable.

Poverty is not a virtue. Struggling is not a badge of honour, and suffering does not automatically make anyone stronger. We need to stop turning the absence of basic necessities into a cultural philosophy.

Was just complaining about this to the driver that picked me up. Lagos looks so rough. Every where is so rough no single respite of softness. It is too bad
The Nigerian government, and Nigerians generally, need to start taking aesthetics a lot more seriously. Look at the backdrop of the National Theatre. That beautiful lake, the bridge and the Blue Line running across it. It is such a stunning composition. It should be a defining visual of Lagos, an iconic postcard that people deliberately visit to photograph, much like the Eiffel Tower in Paris. But you get there and the bushes around the lake are overgrown and there is litter everywhere. Aesthetic is not frivolity. So many countries/cities have used aesthetic to create and attract massive economic opportunities.

As you build your Naira portfolio, don’t forget your USD portfolio. 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Both currencies matter. Build wealth in Naira to take advantage of opportunities at home, and build wealth in dollars to diversify globally and protect your purchasing power. Don’t build wealth in just one currency. Build a portfolio that gives you options in both.

Some of you are just being dishonest and it’s funny. There’s barely any church where tithing and giving isn’t preached, it now depends on how it is presented. You don’t have to gaslight people to give but it is important to give.

The most painful part of living in an underdeveloped society is watching generations come and go while the same basic problems remain unresolved. Different leaders, different slogans, different promises, but the same suffering.

MBAs are so good. My God! It will change the way you think, the way you analyze problems, the way you make decisions. Like a sponge 🧽 you will soak up so much knowledge till you’re overflowing. Dont be fooled, it’s the most stressful thing ever, but it’s so good! If you want to hold leadership positions in the workplace or an entrepreneur running your own enterprise or maybe you just want to be more rounded and grounded, I highly recommend ⭐️⭐️

A country doesn't have to make everyone rich. It should at least make it possible for an ordinary person who works hard to live with dignity. When even that becomes difficult, something is fundamentally wrong.

I need Nigerians to understand that it’s just not normal, and should not be acceptable that the government cannot do some basic things. Yes you can’t fight all corruption but all corruption cannot get a pass. There has to be some that can be curbed. It’s ridiculous
