I genuinely think music criticism on this app has gotten so lazy, mean-spirited, and repetitive. And no, you don’t have to like everything an artist releases. I certainly don’t. But there’s a difference between criticizing someone’s music and making them the punching bag of the week. I wish some of y’all loved discussing music as much as you love dragging the people making it.

Stixx’s production is so good, he couldve dropped this album as an instrumentals only project and it would’ve still been an amazing project
vision is such a cloudy concept because it’s very possible to be managed by someone whose vision for your brand is bigger than yours and will end up feeling like you don’t want this badly enough , but trust me this is exactly what most people need imo
industry connections are a plus but so are your networking skills as an individual … most good managers won’t even consider hopping on board unless the load is shared amongst everyone . it needs to be a partnership
