Are you desperate for a miracle right now? Is there something in your life that feels so impossible, you don't know where else to turn? ⤵️
📅 October 28: Feast day of St. Jude Thaddeus the Apostle
There's a Catholic saint you need to know about, and the story behind why people ask for his help is something you might not expect.
His name is St. Jude Thaddeus. He was one of Jesus' twelve Apostles and is known today as the patron saint of impossible causes.
But here's what makes his story so interesting.
For many years, Christians were said to have avoided asking for his prayers. Not because he had done anything wrong, but because of his name.
You see, St. Jude had a name very similar to Judas Iscariot, the man who betrayed Jesus. And according to an old tradition, people were so afraid of confusing the two that they rarely asked St. Jude for help.
But when someone was desperate, when nothing else seemed to work, they would finally turn to him. And that's how he became known as the saint of impossible causes.
But there's something even more beautiful about his story.
In the Bible, St. Jude wrote a short letter telling Christians to hold on to their faith, even when things got hard. He even told them to save others by “snatching them out of the fire.”
And there's another story you should know.
St. Bridget of Sweden, a Catholic saint, reported that Jesus Himself encouraged her to turn to St. Jude, saying he would be willing to help those who asked for his prayers.
Think about that for a moment. The Apostle people were once afraid to call upon became the very saint millions now turn to when they feel they have nowhere else to go.
And on October 28, the Catholic Church celebrates his feast day, along with St. Simon the Apostle.
So if you've been praying for someone you love, waiting for news you're afraid to hear, or carrying a problem that seems too big to fix, don't lose hope.
God has not forgotten you. And no situation is beyond His power.
💬 What impossible situation are you asking God to help you with right now? Share your prayer intention in the comments so we can pray for one another and ask St. Jude to intercede for us.
And please share this so it may reach souls who are desperately praying for a miracle and needs a little hope today. 🙏
St. Jude Thaddeus, patron saint of impossible causes, pray for us!
This is one of the most famous Catholic prayers to St. Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of impossible, desperate, and seemingly hopeless situations. It is traditionally known as the Prayer to St. Jude for Hopeless Cases.
🙏 Traditional Prayer to St. Jude for Impossible and Hopeless Causes 🙏
Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of.
Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone.
Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of.
Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and help of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly:
[Here make your request]
And that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever.
I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.
Amen.
St. Jude, patron saint of impossible causes, pray for us! 🙏
-end of prayer-
This prayer is often prayed as a nine-day novena, especially when facing a situation that seems hopeless. Catholics ask St. Jude to intercede before God, always trusting in God's wisdom, mercy, and holy will.
October 28 is the feast day of St. Jude Thaddeus and St. Simon the Apostle.
Your problem may seem impossible, but nothing is impossible for God. ⤵️
In Matthew 9, two blind men came to Jesus believing He could heal them. Jesus asked if they believed He could do it. When they said yes, He touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” (Matthew 9:29)
But this doesn't mean God will give us everything we ask for. Faith isn't about controlling God's will. It's about trusting Him even when His answer is different from what we hoped for.
Sometimes God answers through a miracle.
Sometimes through a closed door.
And sometimes He gives us the strength to endure what we desperately wanted Him to remove.
💬 Have you ever prayed desperately for something, only to realize later that God had a completely different plan for you? What happened?
Someone struggling with unanswered prayers may need this reminder today.
A rose petal was found near St. Thérèse of Lisieux's tomb… and when it was examined, something unbelievable appeared. The FACE OF JESUS was reportedly hidden inside it. But wait until you hear what this saint promised before she died... ⤵️
In 1923, the same year St. Thérèse of Lisieux was beatified, something remarkable was reported near her tomb. Someone had collected a dried rose petal, and when light was shined through it, an image appeared that looked remarkably like the Holy Face of Jesus. You could make out the eyes, the beard, and the features of Christ.
Now, this is where things get really interesting.
A priest named Father Noguier de Malijay, who had studied the Shroud of Turin, photographed the petal using light passing through it. And according to accounts of the examination, doctors and scientists found no evidence of paint, ink, or anyone deliberately creating the image. The face appeared to come from the natural fibers and colors of the rose petal itself.
And this wasn't just a photograph that disappeared into history. In 1932, an enlarged version received an imprimatur and was distributed as a Catholic devotional image.
But here's the part of this story that really gives me chills.
St. Thérèse wasn't just known as the Little Flower. Her full religious name was St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face. She had a profound devotion to the suffering face of Christ. It was central to her entire spiritual life.
And before she died, she made a promise that Catholics still remember today. She said she would let fall a shower of roses from heaven.
Think about how extraordinary that connection is.
This was a saint who spent her life loving the Holy Face of Jesus. A saint who promised to send roses from heaven. And then, years after her death, a rose petal found near her tomb reportedly contained an image resembling the very Face she loved so deeply.
Now, to be clear, the Catholic Church has not yet officially declared this rose petal a miracle. But that hasn't stopped generations of faithful Catholics from seeing something deeply meaningful in it.
Because sometimes, it's the smallest things that remind us of God's presence. And for those devoted to St. Thérèse, this little rose petal has become a beautiful reminder of her love for Jesus and her promise to continue helping souls from heaven.
St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face, pray for us. Amen. 🙏
💬 But I'm curious… knowing how deeply St. Thérèse loved the Holy Face of Jesus, and knowing what she promised about sending roses from heaven, do you believe this was just a coincidence… or something far more meaningful?
Every time you pray the Rosary, something powerful happens in Heaven that most Catholics don't even realize. And once you understand these 6 things, you may never look at your Rosary the same way again. ⤵️
1. Your prayers reach the throne of God.
Revelation chapter 5, verse 8, describes golden bowls filled with incense, representing the prayers of the saints. Think about that. Every Hail Mary, every Our Father, even the prayers you whisper while crying or struggling to stay awake. God hears them. Not a single sincere prayer is wasted.
2. You're offering spiritual roses to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Catholic tradition compares every Hail Mary to a beautiful rose presented to Our Lady. But here's what makes this so special. Mary doesn't keep those prayers for herself. She intercedes for you and leads your heart closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. What seems like a simple prayer on Earth becomes a beautiful offering of love.
3. You're never truly praying alone.
Even if you're sitting by yourself in a dark bedroom, you're united with the entire Communion of Saints. And every time you say, "Hail Mary, full of grace," you're repeating the words the angel Gabriel spoke to Mary in Luke chapter 1. Just imagine. You're praying the same words that countless saints prayed centuries before you.
4. You're entering the most powerful moments of Jesus' life.
Most people think the Rosary is just repeating prayers. But that's not its deepest purpose. Every mystery invites you to meditate on Christ. His birth in Bethlehem. His suffering on the Cross. His death for our sins. And His glorious Resurrection. With every decade, you're not just remembering Jesus. You're allowing His life to transform your heart.
5. Your Rosary could be helping someone you've never even met.
At Fatima, Our Lady called for the Rosary to be prayed daily for peace. And Catholic tradition teaches that God can work through our prayers in ways we cannot see. Somewhere, a struggling person may find the strength to keep going. A hardened heart may begin to soften. Someone who has been away from God for years may finally return. And you might never know how God used your prayers until eternity.
6. Even your most distracted Rosary matters.
Maybe your mind wanders. Maybe you lose count. Maybe you're exhausted and can barely finish a decade. But here's something beautiful to remember. God isn't measuring how perfectly you recite every word. He sees your heart. He sees your effort. And every time you bring your attention back to Him, you're choosing love over distraction.
So the next time you hold your Rosary, remember this. You're not simply moving beads between your fingers. You're lifting your heart toward Heaven, asking for Mary's intercession, joining the Communion of Saints, and drawing closer to Jesus Christ.
St. Padre Pio famously called the Rosary a weapon for these times. And perhaps the prayer you almost skipped today is the very prayer that will change something in your life.
Never underestimate the power of one Hail Mary.
💬 If the Rosary has ever helped you through a difficult time, share your testimony in the comments. Your story might be exactly what someone needs to hear today.
You know what's more powerful than giving someone a taste of their own medicine? Giving them no reaction at all. ⤵️
Think about how many times you've tried to explain yourself to someone who refused to understand you. You kept talking, they kept attacking, and you were the one left exhausted.
Fr. Jowel Jomarsus Gatus reminds us, "Respond to toxic people with silence, because when you are silent, you remove the power from your enemies."
Not every insult deserves an answer. Sometimes, walking away takes more strength than fighting back.
Even Jesus remained silent before those who accused Him (Matthew 27:12-14). He knew when to speak and when to be still.
You can forgive someone without allowing them to keep hurting you. You can love them while keeping healthy boundaries.
Leave revenge to God, but never confuse silence with accepting abuse.
💬 Have you ever found more peace by staying silent than by defending yourself?
Someone struggling with a difficult person today may need this reminder.
Apparently posting about Mama Mary makes some people very angry. That won’t stop me. Mary is the Mother of God, blessed among women, and our Queen and Mother 🩵
Let us continue to pray together for the health of Pope Leo XIV, let us also offer one Hail Mary that the Lord may grant him strength, wisdom, and courage as he shepherds the Church and faithfully guides souls closer to Christ. 🙏❤️
Someone recently broke into a Catholic church in Cotabato and committed an act so serious that Masses have now been suspended inside the church... ⤵️
And what happened to the Blessed Sacrament makes this even more heartbreaking.
The incident was reported in October 2026 at Sta. Teresa del Niño Jesus Parish in M’lang, Cotabato, where someone broke into the church, robbed the tabernacle, and desecrated the Blessed Sacrament.
If you're Catholic, you know just how serious this is. Because the Eucharist isn't just bread. We believe it is truly Jesus Christ Himself, His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.
And because of this act of sacrilege, the parish has suspended all Masses and sacramental celebrations inside the main church.
But here's why this matters even more.
When a church is desecrated by a gravely offensive act, the Church requires that the harm be addressed through a special penitential rite before worship can return.
And that's exactly what this parish is preparing to do.
Until then, weekday Masses will continue at the Parish Formation House at their usual times.
On October 31, 2026, at 5 p.m., Bishop Jose Colin M. Bagaforo of Kidapawan will lead the Penitential Rite and Mass of Reparation.
But there's something about the parish's response that really stands out.
Despite what happened, they're asking Catholics to pray, fast, and offer acts of penance to make reparation for this terrible act.
And they're asking for something else that may be even harder.
To pray for the very people responsible, that they may repent, turn back to God, and seek His forgiveness.
The bishop has been informed, and the parish is working with local law enforcement as the incident is being investigated.
This wasn't simply a break-in where something valuable was stolen.
For Catholics, the Blessed Sacrament is our Lord Jesus Christ, truly present under the appearance of bread. And to desecrate the Eucharist is one of the gravest offenses against what we hold most sacred.
So while this parish prepares to make reparation, please pray for the Catholic community in Cotabato, for the healing of those affected, and for the repentance of those responsible.
Because even in the face of such a terrible act, our response must be rooted in faith, prayer, and love for Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament, have mercy on us. Amen.
💬 The parish is asking Catholics to pray for the people who did this. I know that's not easy, but could you honestly do it?
A Catholic priest, Archbishop Fulton Sheen walked into the nicest hotel in Lourdes knowing he couldn't afford a single night. He stayed for nine days. And what happened on the last night is hard to forget... ⤵️
Father Fulton Sheen was a young priest studying in Belgium when he decided to visit Lourdes to celebrate five years of being a priest.
But he had a problem. He only had enough money for the train ticket. He couldn't afford a hotel, let alone nine nights in one.
Still, he went. He trusted that the Blessed Virgin Mary would somehow take care of him.
And when he arrived, he didn't choose a cheap hotel. He picked the best one in town and planned to stay for nine days so he could pray a full novena.
Now imagine being in his position. Every morning you wake up, knowing that bill is getting bigger, and you still have no way to pay it.
One day passed. Then another. By day 8, nobody had offered to help him. No money had appeared. Nothing.
Then came the ninth day. Morning passed. Afternoon passed. And by that evening, he still had no idea what he was going to do.
At around 10:30 that night, Father Sheen went to the grotto to pray one last time. While he was there, a stranger walked up and started asking him questions.
"Are you an American priest?"
Yes.
"Do you speak French?"
Yes.
"Do you know Paris?"
Yes.
The man explained that he was visiting with his family and needed someone to show them around Paris the next day. He asked Father Sheen if he could help.
Father Sheen agreed.
But as they walked back toward the hotel, the stranger asked him something completely unexpected.
"Have you paid your hotel bill yet?"
Of all the questions this man could have asked, he asked the one Father Sheen had been worrying about for nine days.
And just like that, his hotel bill was taken care of.
For nine days, Father Sheen had no idea where the money would come from. But he kept trusting. And on the very last night, a stranger showed up with exactly the help he needed.
It makes you wonder how many times we've given up praying because we thought God wasn't listening.
💬 Do you think this was a coincidence, or did the Blessed Mother send that stranger at exactly the right moment?
A Catholic priest told his church something about death. Minutes later, something happened that no one there could have imagined. And the last words of his sermon make this story even harder to believe... ⤵️
On October 17, 2026, Father Patricio Sánchez Molinari was celebrating Mass in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He was 52 years old and had spent 21 years serving God as a priest. But during that Mass, he shared a message that would soon take on a heartbreaking meaning.
He reminded everyone how quickly life can end. He urged them to put down their phones, spend more time with their loved ones, and make God a bigger part of their lives. Because the truth is, none of us knows how much time we have left.
And what happened next is devastating.
As Father Patricio continued celebrating Mass, a large wooden crucifix hanging behind the altar suddenly came loose. It fell and struck him. The priest who had just reminded everyone that death can come without warning had lost his own life.
And there's something else that makes this story even more heartbreaking. Just two days earlier, he had celebrated his 21st anniversary as a priest. For more than two decades, he had cared for families, helped young people, and brought others closer to Jesus. And now, he had died while doing what he had given his life to do. Celebrating the Holy Mass.
But for many Catholics, one detail carries a deeper meaning.
Father Patricio spent his life teaching people about the love of Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross. And in his final moments, he was struck by the very image of that cross.
His death was a terrible accident. But even in this tragedy, his final message can remind us of something important.
How many times have you said you'll call someone tomorrow?
Or forgive someone later?
Or start praying when life gets less busy?
We keep putting these things off because we think there's always more time.
Father Patricio walked into that church expecting to celebrate Mass, just like he had done so many times before. He never got to walk out.
And that's what makes his final sermon so hard to forget. He told everyone that we never know when our last day will come. And before that Mass was over, his own last day had come.
May God have mercy on Father Patricio's soul and grant him eternal rest. And may his story remind us to love, forgive, and turn to God while we still have time.
💬 Do you think Father Patricio's final sermon was just a heartbreaking coincidence, or does it carry a deeper message?
After Pope Leo XIV underwent surgery for lung cancer, Catholics around the world had one frightening question: Would the Holy Father be strong enough to continue his mission? Now, just two weeks later, the Vatican has delivered an extraordinary update. ⤵️
On October 26th, the Vatican confirmed that Pope Leo's doctors have officially cleared him to travel, following what his medical team described as a very encouraging recovery.
And the news gets even better. His doctors say no further cancer treatment is necessary.
But what makes this announcement especially meaningful is what the Holy Father is preparing to do next.
From November 6th through the 17th, Pope Leo is scheduled to visit Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru, returning to a continent that has played an important role in his life.
And after everything he's been through, his message about this journey is especially moving.
Pope Leo said, "I am looking forward to returning to the continent where I’ve experienced so many moments of my life."
But he also made it clear that this journey is about something much greater than returning to familiar places.
He hopes it will bring people closer together, strengthen their unity as brothers and sisters, and renew their commitment to proclaiming the Gospel with joy.
Just weeks after undergoing lung cancer surgery, the Holy Father is preparing to travel across three countries to meet the faithful and continue his mission as successor of St. Peter.
For Catholics who have been concerned about his health, this is deeply encouraging news.
And as Pope Leo prepares for this important journey, let's continue praying for his healing, his strength, and the grace to carry out the mission God has entrusted to him.
💬 Will you join in praying for Pope Leo XIV?
What if the pain you're begging God to take away could become something sacred?
There's a powerful truth about suffering that every Christian needs to hear. Blessed Archbishop Fulton Sheen taught that suffering without Christ is simply pain. But when we unite that suffering with Jesus, it becomes a sacrifice.
The heartbreak you never saw coming.
The person you trusted who betrayed you.
The prayers you've whispered for years without an answer.
The burden you carry that nobody else knows about.
Here's what changes everything. Jesus never promised you a life without suffering. Instead, He chose to suffer alongside you. He carried a Cross so that the crosses you carry would never have to be meaningless.
And this is where your pain can become something beautiful. When you tell Jesus, "Lord, I don't understand why this is happening, but I offer it to You," you're doing something extraordinary. You're turning your suffering into an act of love.
In Romans 12:1, Saint Paul calls us to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to God. That includes the difficult days, the silent tears, and the moments when trusting God feels almost impossible.
The saints understood something many of us forget. They didn't love suffering. They loved Jesus enough to place their suffering in His hands. And through Him, even their deepest wounds could become offerings of love.
So if you're carrying something painful today, remember this. You don't have to pretend it doesn't hurt. You don't have to understand why it's happening. And you don't have to carry it alone.
Because the Cross teaches us something the world cannot. Pain doesn't always disappear when you give it to Jesus. But in His hands, it can become something greater than pain. It can become love.
Tonight, whatever is weighing on your heart, try praying these simple words: "Jesus, I give You what I cannot change. Unite my suffering with Yours, and help me trust You even when I cannot see the purpose."
💬 And I want to ask you something. What's one burden you've been struggling to surrender to God? Share it in the comments if you're comfortable, so we can pray for one another.
And share this so someone who needs to remember that even in their darkest moments, Jesus has not abandoned them.
This Catholic mother had 12 children. Six became priests, and two became nuns. But what she did as a mother is the part every Catholic parent needs to hear. ⤵️
Her name was Sonia Llauró de Ibarra, and she lived in Argentina with her husband, Diego. Together, they raised 12 children. Six of their sons became priests, two daughters became religious sisters, three got married, and one daughter sadly passed away at a young age.
Now, you might think Sonia must have done something special to raise so many children who wanted to give their lives to God.
But when you hear how she raised them, it's actually pretty simple.
She didn't push her children to become priests or nuns. She focused on something else. Making sure they grew up knowing and loving God.
Prayer was a normal part of their home. They prayed the Rosary, spent time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and made their faith part of everyday life.
But there's something about Sonia's story that I think matters even more.
She knew she couldn't teach her children to love God if she wasn't growing closer to Him herself.
During her marriage, she began the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, and it changed her faith. She learned that before parents can lead their children to God, they need to make time for Him in their own lives.
And when she spoke to parents who were afraid of their children becoming priests, she gave them this advice:
“If your son wants to enter the seminary, don’t be afraid to entrust him to God.”
She also warned parents not to put out the little flame God might be lighting in their child's heart.
And I think that's something a lot of us need to hear. Because as parents, we spend so much time thinking about what our children will become. Where they'll go to school, what job they'll have, and whether they'll be successful.
But how often do we stop and ask what God might be calling them to do?
Sonia couldn't choose her children's vocations for them. But she could give them a home where they learned to hear God's voice.
And maybe that's where raising children who love God really begins. Not with what we tell them to do, but with the faith they see us living every day.
💬 If your child told you tomorrow that they wanted to become a priest or nun, would you feel happy or would part of you struggle to let them go?
The person who destroyed your peace might be living their best life right now. But St. Padre Pio has a warning you need to hear. ⤵️
Maybe they lied about you, betrayed your trust, or caused you pain they'll never admit to. And somehow, they're the ones who seem happy while you're still trying to heal. You might even wonder, "God, why are You letting them get away with this?"
St. Padre Pio, a man who experienced false accusations, misunderstanding, and unfair treatment, left us with this powerful reminder:
"Don't allow the sad sight of human injustice to sadden your soul; someday you will see the unfailing justice of God triumph over it."
— St. Padre Pio
That person who lied about you? God knows the truth.
The people who betrayed your trust? God saw everything.
The pain you carried in silence while everyone else believed their side of the story? God saw that, too.
And here's what we sometimes forget. Just because God hasn't brought justice yet doesn't mean He has forgotten. His timing is not our timing. And His silence does not mean He is absent.
But Padre Pio wasn't teaching us to seek revenge. He was reminding us not to let someone else's wrongdoing destroy the peace within our own hearts. Because when bitterness takes over, the person who hurt us continues to have power over our lives.
That's why Scripture tells us in Romans 12:21:
"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
You can forgive without pretending the pain never happened. You can stand for truth without carrying hatred. And you can trust God's justice without taking revenge into your own hands.
So if you're still waiting for the truth to come out, if someone hurt you and never apologized, or if you've been asking God why the wicked sometimes seem to prosper, remember this.
The world may never acknowledge what happened to you. The people who wronged you may never admit what they did. But God knows. And no injustice is hidden from Him.
Don't let what someone did to you steal the peace God wants for your heart. Leave room for His justice. And keep choosing what is right.
God sees.
God knows.
God is just.
💬 Have you ever struggled to trust God's justice when someone who hurt you seemed to face no consequences? Share your thoughts 🙏
And send this message to someone who needs to remember that God has not forgotten their pain. 🙏
You can spend your whole life trying to avoid death, only to ignore the very thing that could cost you Heaven. ⤵️
St. Maximilian Kolbe understood something we often forget:
“I do not fear death. I fear only sin. Death is a door; sin is a chain.”
Death is not the end for those who belong to Christ. Jesus conquered death through His Resurrection and opened the way to eternal life.
But sin is dangerous because it pulls our hearts away from God. And when we knowingly choose serious sin without repentance, we put our souls at risk.
That's why we should never take God's mercy for granted. We still have time to repent, go to Confession, and return to Him.
💬 Are you more afraid of dying, or of standing before God knowing you could have lived differently?
Someone may need this reminder before another day passes.
Mel Gibson and his film crew reportedly turned to the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Michael the Archangel for protection against Satan while filming The Resurrection of the Christ. But there's something about this prayer that makes it even more powerful. ⤵️
According to an exclusive report from LifeSiteNews, Gibson shared a prayer that the cast and crew were reciting during production of the long-awaited sequel to The Passion of the Christ.
And they weren't just praying for the movie to be successful.
They were asking for protection from spiritual attacks and physical harm as they worked to bring the story of Jesus' Resurrection to the big screen.
The words of the prayer are striking:
“Queen of Heaven, most blessed among women, who art crowned with the stars and clothed with the sun, look with favor, we pray, on these thy children who seek to glorify thy Divine Son. Graciously send thy defender, Michael, to protect all involved in this holy project from the attacks of Satan, and to preserve them from every spiritual and physical harm.”
But here's what makes this story even more interesting.
According to reports, Gibson had already been speaking about the spiritual battles surrounding this film more than a year before production began.
They were preparing to tell the story of the greatest victory in human history. The moment Jesus Christ rose from the dead, conquered death, and opened the gates of Heaven.
And before bringing that story to the world, they were reportedly asking Our Lady, St. Michael, and the apostles to intercede for their protection.
There's something deeply moving about that. Because even while making a movie about Christ's victory over death, they recognized how much they needed God's help.
And maybe that's what we should remember most.
If people working to share the story of Jesus' Resurrection are turning to prayer for protection, how much more should we turn to God in the battles we face in our own lives?
May the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Michael the Archangel intercede for everyone involved in this film, and may it lead countless souls closer to Jesus Christ.
💬Have you ever experienced something in your life that made you realize spiritual warfare is real? What happened?
Before you keep scrolling, can I ask you to do something?
Please pray one Hail Mary for a priest today. 🙏
Think about how many times you've needed a priest in your life. When you needed forgiveness, he was there to hear your confession. When you needed Jesus in the Eucharist, he was there to celebrate Mass. When you were hurting, he was there to pray with you.
But here's something we often forget. Who prays for the priest when he's the one struggling?
We see priests standing at the altar, preaching God's Word, and helping others. But we don't always see what they go through when nobody is watching.
They get tired.
They face temptation.
They have difficult days.
And sometimes, they feel alone.
Just because someone has given his life to God doesn't mean he no longer needs our prayers.
In fact, we should be praying for our priests every single day. The Church needs holy priests, and our priests need the grace and strength to remain faithful to their calling.
So today, offer one Hail Mary for a priest. It could be the priest who baptized you, heard your confession, or helped bring you back to the Catholic Church.
And please remember our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, in your prayers too.
💬 Can I count on you to pray one Hail Mary for a priest today? 🙏
