Got to the end of the barrow way at St Mullins then stopped at jfk’s gaff to say hello .
On a side note yesterday I spotted a Russian sub on the grand canal and today found an abandoned UFO at the side of the road ,,, must be the Russians again ;)
In all the years I have come to Carlow for the Des Hanlon I never knew there was a castle in the town 🚴♂️👌
Day 1 done , thanks to my tour guide getting me out of Dublin , never knew the Roman’s got to Ireland but I found an amphitheater and a viaduct on travels and amazingly the sun was shining 👌👌👌🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️

Given the week that the Irish cycling family has had with the loss of Craig and Tomas it makes you feel even luckier to be still pedalling.

What a weekend , the club took away 8 individual medals including 2 winners . 8 sprint finalists 5 medalists , a high jump , walks , long jump and shot putt medal plus 2 relays . 20 kids going home with medals for our second year competing as a club. #passion @corkcityac
