It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.

Because she’s human.
In Kalamazoo, MI, a supporter yells, "Kamalazoo." Watch her joy and humanity. We need her leadership now.

The late, great STL sportswriter Rick Hummel loved Tommy Edman. He always talked gleefully about him. The 2 got to know each other well in the clubhouse over the years. And now, on a team with Ohtani & Betts, Edman has won the NLCS MVP, leading the Dodgers to the World Series. Man, I wish we could hear from Rick right now.

Work when no one’s watching.
Pujols and DeRo, who were teammates with the Cardinals in 2009, on MLB Central. DeRo: "Were you a big video guy? I don't remember you watching a lot of video." Pujols: "That's because I showed up at 1 and you showed up at 3:30."

Nobody needs my retweet, and so can you.
Mesa, AZ Republican Mayor John Giles: I do not recognize my party. I have something to say to those of us who are in the middle: You don’t owe a damn thing to that party. You don’t owe anything to a party that is out of touch and hell-bent on taking us backward. And by all means, you owe no loyalty to a candidate who is morally and ethically bankrupt. In the spirit of the great Senator John McCain, please join me in putting country over party and stopping Donald Trump.

A client who needed to make a move once told me I sounded desperate as I tried to help her see the need. I was not desperate, the matter was urgent. I didn’t win her over, but I didn’t stop. I pace out lots of things, but when it’s time it’s time. Tune in.

bc A) they aren’t their customer B) they don’t listen to their customer C) regular people are not in the room when these things are cooked D) they would rather be cool than truly connect with a customer
Budweiser ad fail... Never mind, this is just an isolated incident. Apple ad fail... We didn't know people felt like that. Bumble ad fail... Ok, sorry, we're just bad at humor. Forgive us. Q: Why are brands so out of touch with their customers these days?

Studies of merger and acquisition activity have pegged the rate at which they (unneeded layoffs) destroy — rather than increase — shareholder value at something between 60 and 90 percent, but the bump was sure nice, huh shareholder CEO?nytimes.com/2024/03/21/opini…

What do we think of @Snap’s new brand campaign?

Less Social Media, More Snapchat.

I’ve been waiting for Snap to take a stand like this since I briefly worked on the brand years ago. moresnapchat.com/
