🚨FACT CHECK of @Spilka4Congress’s assessment of @DeatonforSenate: 1. “He’s a crypto bro.” ❌ No one who’s actually covered @JohnEDeaton1 and his pro bono work and advocacy for the #crypto community would describe him as a “crypto bro.” 2. “He wrote a book which is about 300 pages of him talking about how tough he is.” ❌ For those who have actually read John’s book, they know it’s a brutally honest and, at times, very disturbing account of a man who grew up in abject poverty, experienced violent sexual and physical assault from the age of 9, experienced loss, addiction, and worked multiple jobs to put himself through college, law school and the Marines. 3. “I think he has about as much of a path to victory as an IVF embryo in Alabama.” 😬 Warren herself has condemned the Alabama Supreme Court decision ruling that frozen embryos created during the IVF process are “children” under state law. In fact, she just introduced a bill to protect IVF access nationwide. @SenWarren, these are the kinds of people that endorse you? People who belittle the struggles of others and make fun of diminishing reproductive rights? Interesting.
