Surprise, surprise, AI is making us dumber ๐คค
Shouldn't we be using it to become smarter?
As the author of the study concludes:
"We need to work toward a future in which human abilities are, as much as possible, augmented rather than supplanted"

In the AI era, will software become like music? ๐ต
AI can already generate songs in any style, but people still support their favorite musicians because they like their music
So will people support their favorite developers because they like their software?
Our experience with AI development so far:
โ๏ธ It's a great tool when used as an assistant
โ It makes programming mistakes
โ It tends to complicate things
๐
โโ๏ธ There's no way we're giving it the car keys
All the code in our apps has been properly verified and understood
Will one day AI generate apps like TimeTune for free?
Maybe, but most probably not for free (and not free of bugs either)
People seem to overestimate the ability to design tools with AI. Not because of AI itself, but because you need to explain everything in extreme detail.
In RoutineWin 2.0 you will be able to start your routines right from the home screen! ๐
Stay tuned, soon in beta!
In RoutineWin 2.0 you will be able to start your routines from the main screen too! ๐

Charlie Munger said:
"In my whole life, I have known no wise people who didn't read all the time โ none, zero."
How's your reading in 2026? Are you reading at least one hour a day?
Remember, you can use TimeTune to see your progress at a glance ๐๐
We're adding a bottom menu to RoutineWin! ๐
This will make it easier to navigate through your history and achievements ๐ฅ
We're also bumping the version to 2.0, as there will be significant improvements
Soon in beta! ๐
We're bringing back this approach to get reviews from users in RoutineWin
Currently, the app uses the official in-app review dialog, but it doesn't work as well as our custom approach
Soon in beta!
If you want to know why our custom approach works so well, you can see it here:

We already finished the migration to coroutines in RoutineWin! ๐ฅณ
Coroutines integrate better when the app follows the recommended MVVM architecture, so that's another thing we need fully embrace ๐ค
Soon in beta!
Shhh... don't tell anyone, but TimeTune, RoutineWin and Periodically are still using AsyncTasks for background work...
Time to adapt them to Kotlin coroutines!
RoutineWin reached 10,000 downloads!
It took a while to get there, but people seem to like the idea of completing their routines in record time!
Just search for "RoutineWin" on Google Play! ๐
Always make room for your most important things in your schedule!
Otherwise, your schedule (or your dog) will come back to bite you! ๐ถ
