Quick update on @allies_ai I'm no longer building allies as a SaaS product. I started on the idea of personal helpers a few weeks before Grok, Dots, and Muse announced theirs. My rule for selling software is that you need an unfair advantage, or you need to be sure you can build something 10x better. Here I don't think I have either. Allies isn't going anywhere, though. I still use it every day, and it's now a fully open-source project that I'll keep supporting. Anyone can run it, fork it, or build on it. AI is moving into the most personal parts of our lives, and some of us will want to own that layer, not outsource it. Rather thematic, because allies was built on @NousResearch Hermes, so carrying on that open spirit feels right. Thanks for all the support so far; on to the next 🫡 github.com/Timmyy3000/allies
