- wanted clean air on lap 10, they said nothing they can do - wanted to pit, they pit his teammate instead and helped the frontrunners by opening up a perfect gap for their stops - wanted the team to do ANYTHING besides sit on their asses, they said let’s pray for a safety car ?

VAR today was an absolute disgrace. The handballs were for everyone to see, somehow the officials managed to miss the lot. What is the point of VAR if they’re too incompetent to spot the most obvious absolute circus run by clowns who haven’t got a clue. You couldn’t make this up

Already today we have seen Calvert-Lewin's goal disallowed for 'handball' when the ball bounced up and hit his shoulder... Not 20 minutes later, a Brighton player clearly handles the ball with an outstretched arm inside the box, and VAR have seen no issue with it... How on earth are the rules that inconsistent??

Manchester City supporters have been able to sneak their inflatable bananas into the away end at Anfield this afternoon. It has been a trend at City since the 1987-88 season when they had been relegated to the second tier. They had a striker called Imre Varadi, who was called Imre Banana by one fan. That led another fan to bring an inflatable banana with him to the next game and it was a trend that stuck throughout the rest of the 80s and the 90s. The travelling City fans are clearly trying to have a bit of fun in the face of discussion about a potential relegation back to the second tier, or lower. 🔗 nyti.ms/4rXKrur

Lando was alongside, hugged the kerb, left more than enough space, and Piastri turned in on him like he wasn't there. if you blame Lando here then motorsports aren't your thing

🚨 Joe Cole: 🎙 "If your the establishment, Liverpool, Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea etc.. the other clubs don't have capacity to compete." 😡 "So are we to go another fifty years only seeing Arsenal, Utd, Liverpool winning.. Rules need to be changed so others can compete" 👏 #ManCity

Manchester City will always be part of my heart. I arrived at Maine Road in 1995 and lived through some very difficult days with this club. Relegation, uncertainty, seasons when nothing went our way. But one thing never changed: the supporters stood by City every single week. Today there is a lot of noise around the club. I'm not here to talk about courtrooms. I'm here to say that this club, its people and its fans have been through storms before, and they always came back stronger. Stay together. Stay proud. Blue forever. 💙 Gio
