what’s happening in turkiye and why is it important;
it started with government cancelling the mayor’s university diploma (which was gotten 35 years ago) just because he is the strongest opponent. people did not accept this because it’s a coup against the people of turkiye and their freedom. but the police started torturing university students just because they were using their constitutional right by protesting.
this is a blow against democracy, young people aged 18-25 in universities are being damaged by pepper sprays and blackjacks.
even by retweeting you can make our voices heard, letting the world know what has been going on. Republic of Turkiye will always follow the footsteps of Ataturk!
