1hr voice recorder => Notebook
Ramped to 100% for all users today in Gemini Notebook Mobile app.
I record meetings and conversations across a day and then use Notebook to do daily roundups. It's my primary use of the mobile app by a long way!

iOS: google.com/url?opi=89978449&…
🚨 MAJOR MOBILE FEATURE 🚨
You can now record up to 1 hour of live audio directly in the mobile app. Capture lectures, team meetings, or your latest mad scientist rants and instantly use them as sources.
Pro tip: Combine your live audio recordings with photos of your handwritten notes to create the ultimate personalized workspace

This is Genie 4, our most realistic and interactive world model yet. 🌐
Explore dynamic environments in real time to see how the scene responds, sounds, and how the people in it move, react, and speak.

Thanks for highlighting our work, @NewsFromGoogle!
There's more where that came from. Stay tuned!
Gemini 4 Argon is already helping researchers unlock new scientific breakthroughs across fusion, biology, and quantum computing:
⚛️ In nuclear fusion, Argon helped discover a broader class of counterexamples to Grad's conjecture — a nearly 60-year-old assumption in plasma physics — creating new benchmarks for stellarator 3D magnetic fields.
🧬 In biology, it designed five novel, lab-verified serine esterases in a matter of hours — enzyme engineering that would previously have taken months. This work demonstrates the potential for rapid acceleration in fields such as biomanufacturing, green chemistry, and drug development.
🩺 In rare disease research, scientists at @GamowLabs used Argon to analyze de-identified genomes from newborns with rare developmental lung disorders — pinpointing a chromosomal rearrangement that routine software missed for years, and explaining why it went undetected.
🧮 In quantum computing, Argon translated our AlphaQubit error-correction decoder into a single optimized hardware kernel — nearly doubling inference throughput — and cut spacetime costs for a key quantum subroutine by more than 100x.

In July we open-sourced a dynamic graph of everything a child learns in primary school. 1,590 concepts, 3,221 dependencies.
Now we’re turning every concept into interactive experiments kids can play and learn from.
First one, age 7: heat and water.
Everything that used to be a boring textbook can now be an engaging experience, potentially tailored to every child.
Kids education just got a massive upgrade.
Sorry we even made you consider Astra for a few weeks. Won't happen again.

Big G is back! 🙇
@GoogleDeepMind Gemini 4 takes the 👑 on @GamowLabs RareBench and LabBench by a healthy margin over previous champ Opus 5.5.
A tip of the hat to @melvinjohnsonp, @taotu831, @divy93t, and the rest of the science team for this very strong release.
We've moved essentially all of our biology and genomics research work to Gemini 4 in agy with science skills since joining the EAP program and look forward to seeing if this model can help diagnose some new kids!

Build and test native Android apps seamlessly with @Antigravity.
By connecting the @StitchByGoogle MCP and the Android CLI, the agent imports UI designs, converts them into native Jetpack Compose components, validates everything in an emulator, and executes the final build directly on a physical device.

A special @Gemini_Notebook moment - we made the @a16z Top 10 GenAI Web Products by Monthly visits!
huge thank you to all our users!
The seventh edition of our Top 100 Consumer AI Apps is here.
New this time: a revenue leaderboard, alongside the usual web and mobile traffic rankings.
Three years ago we published the first edition. ChatGPT was #1, Claude was unranked, and the entire category was chatbots, image generators, and not much else.
In today's edition:
- ChatGPT still holds the throne, now with 1B+ monthly actives on mobile
- Claude has climbed to #3 on web with nearly 1B monthly visits
- The category has expanded to vibe coding (Lovable, Cursor, Replit), music (Suno), design (Figma), voice (ElevenLabs), video (Higgsfield, Kling), agents (Manus), and even hardware (Plaud)
