Re-enacting Memory: on this day in 2020, we lost a dear friend.
Ray was a marvelous academic and teacher. He encouraged me and mentored me in my interests in history. Generous with his time, he did this for many others.
Loved and fondly remembered by many!

41st Regiment reenactors and the 41st squaddies (summer students - white trousers) from Fort George under my command at Fort Erie.
What a gentleman! Really enjoyed this talk.
Looking forward to sharing it closer to the book launch dates in North America.
Great fun chatting with @aroberts_andrew about his new book this morning!
It was a true honour.
We are going to release the video closer to his North American launch dates which I believe have been pushed back as follows:
November 17th: U.S.A
November 24th: Canada
Reenacting Memory: Mississinewa 2023, our version of a last stand? A favourite moment.
The crowd pleaser for the home town fans.
They wanted me to screw it up and I obliged in spectacular fashion!
