Tremendous tribute to a tremendous person
This is one of the most special projects I’ve worked on in my career.
Danny V was a boss, mentor and friend and I’m so glad we can honor a great man who did so much for others in this way.
Danny V has an indelible legacy and I hope this only adds to it.

There was no shortage of drama at Franklin Country Club on Monday. bostonherald.com/2026/10/26/…
Wakefield's Patrick Maloney stuffs his tee shot to three feet on the fourth playoff hole and converts the birdie to claim the D2 individual title.
@Murray_Jack_
Great up and down by Moulton for par and Maloney can't covert his birdie look on the third playoff hole, and they tie with 4s. Back to No. 4.
@Murray_Jack_
On we go as Moulton and Maloney tie the second playoff hole with pars. Headed back to the third.
@Murray_Jack_
Moulton and Maloney both miss their par putts on the first platoff hole and tie with 5s. On to the par-3 fourth.
@Murray_Jack_
Maloney and Moulton will be playing thr par-4 third hole to start the playoff. The green sits right below the clubhouse so there will be a large crowd watching.

Still waiting for all the numbers to be crunched but looking more and more like Norton is the D2 champion, posting a cumulative +27, two shots ahead of Wakefield.
Wakefield's Patrick Maloney and D-S's Jai Moulton tied individually at +1. Waiting on playoff info.
@Murray_Jack_
Some confusion here as live scoring on-line has Wakefield leading the team competition but I believe an incorrect score may give the D2 title to Norton. Waiting to confirm.
@Murray_Jack_
Here we go again as Norton drifts back into a tie with Wakefield at +26. Just a handful of holes left for both teams. Nailbiter.
@Murray_Jack_
Just like that Norton's lead is back up to three strokes over Milton and Wakefield. With the shotgun start, most golfers have two or three holes to play.
Maloney (Wakefield) has reclaimed the individual lead at even par.
@Murray_Jack_
The gap between Norton and the field has officially closed in D2 as they are now tied at the top with Wakefield at +22 with three or four holes left to go. Milton still in it at +24.
@Murray_Jack_
Norton still leads the D2 team competition but the individual race just got real interesting after a Maloney (Wakefield) double bogey dropped him into a three-way tie with Joe Mulvey (Scituate) and Jai Moulton (D-S) at +1.
Seven players within a shot of the lead.
@Murray_Jack_
After being bunched up at the top of the D2 golf leaderboard we are seeing a little separation, with Norton three shots clear of Hanover and Wakefield. Things changing quickly though.
Wakefield's Maloney continues to set the individual pace at 1-under after 11.

CORRECTION: Hanover leads Scituate and Norton by a shot
Here at Franklin Country Club for @BosHeraldSports where its is a gorgeous day for the MIAA Div. 2 golf state championship.
With most players about midway through their round, Hanover (+12) leads Scituate and Hanover by a shot in the team competition.
