Finding the most efficient marketing channel for your app is critical.
If you are bootstrapped you have to be profitable from day zero.
Otherwise the delayed apple payouts and negative cash flow will demolish your growth
This guy Tomer who built an $80K/month app in less than a year says:
"Every channel works. UGC, influencers, paid ads, SEO. The question is which channel is the most efficient for your specific market? For me, it was paid ads. CPMs are significantly lower than in the US, so you can run paid ads profitably without a ton of testing the capital."
"Once I had traction and the social proof needed, I partnered with big influencers on a revenue-share so incentives were aligned. The more money I make, the more money they make. That’s what took the app from $20,000 to $80,000 per month."
Apparently the app was promised to me 3000 years ago
This guy Tomer who makes $80K/month by localizing proven app ideas says:
"Although my original plan was to build something big for the US market, the chance to take a proven winner and be the first to localize it was the simplest zero to one move for me."
"Fitness and nutrition is a very big niche. Doesn't matter the country or the market. So I decided there is enough potential in it, even in a smaller local market."
👀
wow.
just talked to a guy who had his first $80,000 month with his iOS app
launched ~12 months ago
he took a VERY popular app idea here in the US and localized to a country with only 10M population
then, he brought on a very popular influencer/celeb in that country. they promoted his app and allowed him to run ads much cheaper than the competition
but it wasn't a typical influencer deal. it was an equity/rev share deal!
genius.
i think this will become a huge trend (partnering with influencers/celebs on rev share)

On top of ads, TrustMRR is now monetized with a 3% finder fee, which accounts for ~17% of its revenue this month.
It's also the first month DataFast takes over ShipFast.
Is it just me, or does the @RevenueCat mobile app show completely wrong daily revenue numbers on the Transactions screen when the event volume is high?
It doesn't match the web dashboard or the MMP reporting
Steven is right.
The 3-Screen Trial Close can increase your subscriptions by 30% immediately.
Here are the results from an experiment I ran for my app:
Paywall cheat code: The 3-Screen Trial Close
Don't put your trial terms in the fine print. Break it into three separate, less aggressive 'paywall priming' screens:
Screen 1: "We want you to Try this for free"
Screen 2: "We’ll remind you before the trial ends"
Screen 3: "Unlock everything now" Make the user feel safe to convert. (this is the only actual paywall screen)
Builds a ton of trust with any user hesitating about your free trial

Take big swings when you are small
Branding and distribution are the moat & differentiation in the AI era
calbuddy from @tomercn doubled its revenue in 3 weeks
congrats ahi !!!
I DOUBLED my trial start rate in 4 months.
I did it by improving my app's onboarding flow.
It is one of the highest ROI activities you can do.
Don't fall in love with your marketing channel.
Influencers, UGC, Ads....
They ALL work.
Combining them is the real cheat code.
Run ads with your best-performing influencers' content.
You'll get more subscriptions than you can imagine.
Thank me later.

It's the first time my little startup portfolio is somehow balanced. CodeFast/ShipFast used to account for 90%. Now, with TrustMRR and DataFast, it's getting closer to 25/25/25/25 diversification.
About to hit $20K in the last 28 days 🤯
