I'm very very sad tonight. I just learned that Stephen Biesty passed away in 2024 at 63... He is one of my favorite artist. Rest in peace.
rip arc but this brought me some joy
helium browser -> dev team (imput.net/) -> livesteam of cats at their feeders meow.camera/
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.
That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community.
Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet todayโs security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward.
We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how:
ยท Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly.
ยท Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact.
ยท Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security.
ยท The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional.
Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

Dutch housing always fascinates me. In this town of Loosdrecht, people live on narrow strips of land in a lake.

The idea of โblobby modelingโ goes way back. You can trace its roots at least to Maxwell's 1873 treatise, where he draws equipotential lines for charged particlesโeffectively defining nicely-curved geometry from just a few degrees of freedom: charge centers & magnitudes. [9/n]

Introducing the US Gov Graph - a complete map of the people and positions of power in the federal government.
To fix our institutions we must understand how they work, so we are using AI to model and monitor every government in America. This is Palantir for The People.
Check it out here: graph.civlab.org/us
We exist to set the conditions for an era of civic excellence unmatched since the Founding. We will need nothing less to navigate the age of AI.
I'm looking for exceptional engineers and designers to work with me in San Francisco. If that's you, inquire here: tally.so/r/KY97RK. Self-governing civilization is counting on you.
