The Avignon papacy, which everyone agrees was an unmitigated disaster for the Church, lasted for seventy years and subsequently triggered a schism that lasted for forty years. Did the saints who lived during the Avignon papacy remain passive and resigned to the crisis out of a spirit of obedience to the Holy See? No. St Catherine of Siena pleaded with the popes to leave Avignon and derided those responsible for the pope's remaining in France as “incarnate demons." And she did so not out of rebelliousness but sincere devotion and faithfulness to the papacy and to the pope. We must do the same during the present crisis. To remain passive and to allow the Church and the papacy to be wounded by the crisis would be the very opposite of faithfulness.
“English people are not united by English ethnicity. They are united by commitment to the country (despite English identity preceding the establishment of the English state). The foundation of all this is Christianity - but also you don’t have to be a Christian to live here.”

France will burn into the late morning hours. To what end? So they can harbour millions who hate everything of what is means to be French?
Was it worth it?
Will it be worth it in Britain, when similar violence inevitably erupts?
I think not.
We watch as migrants ransack Paris whilst flying the flag of various African countries.
Some may have arrived illegally, for most their presence is entirely ‘legal’. Plenty were probably born in France, and are technically ‘French’.
For the rioters, evidently, their allegiance is not to France, or to the French people.
Where does their loyalty truly lie?
Their clan.
The civilised world’s response must reflect that.
Those convicted for arson, organised violence, and attacks on innocent people must face substantial prison sentences - foreign nationals involved must be removed. Citizenships stripped from dual nationals, obviously.
Mass deportations.
Act before they do.
And in exceptional cases, I would go further.
A Restore Britain Government will develop bilateral agreements and mechanisms with third countries to accept second-generation migrant offenders convicted of domestic terrorism and other such serious crimes, who, for now, hold only British citizenship.
There will be no statelessness. It will be conducted fairly, and it will cost, but it will be done, and a message will be sent.
The French should do the same.
If you burn down a city, terrorise law-abiding citizens and torch the society around you - there will be consequences worthy of the crime.
And if your allegiance lies elsewhere, and you demonstrate that through terrorism or extreme violence, a Restore Britain Government will send you to the country you claim allegiance to - if that's where your loyalty lies, we will aim to make that a reality.
Britain is just a few short years behind France.
We’ve had our warning - we must take it.
They put “Uluru” (ie Ayer’s Rock) as the Aboriginal “historical landmark”.
In case you didn’t know, Ayer’s Rock is literally just a big rock in the middle of the desert. They didn’t build it or alter it. There’s no historical settlement nearby. Zero contribution to history.
White nationalism has a bad reputation but it’s actually the most inclusive form of nationalism. It’s a putting aside of petty nationalism, of obsession with genealogy, of exultation of lineage. It’s the belief that if you look like us, sound like us, and act like us, you are us.
What happened to the statute of limitations? Has this just been abolished now?
This is a summary of what happened in Russell Brand’s rape and sexual assault trial so far today.
⚠️ Warning: This post contains distressing details of an alleged rape.
The court has was played the 2023 police video interview of the first alleged victim.
At the beginning of the interview, she stated: “I’m reporting that Russell Brand did rape me.”
The woman told police that she first encountered Brand at a Labour Party conference fringe event in Bournemouth in 1999, where he approached her from behind and repeatedly pulled her ponytail.
She initially described him as “very gentlemanly”, “attentive” and “softly spoken”. She said she had even assumed he was gay because of his mannerism.
The woman later invited Brand back to her hotel room to continue their conversation because she didn't want to go to pubs andclubs. And she would not have invited him if she thought that he was hitting on her, she also said that he wasn't her type.
However, she alleged that his behaviour changed after they arrived. She described him taking off his shirt, acting strangely and becoming increasingly intimidating.
She told police she became frightened when Brand forced her to take pictures of him, saying: “I was really scared.”
According to her, Brand then pushed her onto the bed and removed her trousers.
The woman said she mentally disconnected from what was happening, but made clear that she remembered saying no.
During the alleged rape, she said Brand repeatedly told her that “it’s all fine” and that what was happening was “normal”, which she felt was an attempt to convince her that his actions were acceptable.
Afterwards, Brand allegedly reassured her that she should not worry about sexually transmitted infections because he regularly got himself tested.
However, the woman said she experienced nightmares about the possibility of becoming pregnant.
She described the alleged attack as quick and told police that Brand behaved as though nothing was wrong afterwards.
She said she remained silent, sat on the bed crying and felt stupid about what had happened.
When Brand eventually left the hotel room, she locked the door and placed a chair in front of it because she was frightened he might return.
She also described spending hours washing herself in the bathroom, feeling dirty and blaming herself for what had happened.
Twitter literally changed my life. I’ve made some amazing friends, I’ve been uplifted and encouraged in the faith, I’ve been inspired culturally and artistically, and most importantly, I met my beautiful wife on here.
Thank you Elon!

okay here’s some good advice:
- Get married when you fall in love with someone. This will happen when it’s meant to happen, if you are living a life that’s open to it. You don’t need to desperately chase it.
- Children are the overflow of the love between a man and a woman. A love so strong and necessary and insistent that it is instantiated and given being. Do not get married so you can have kids. This instrumentalises your spouse.
- Dogs should never have to touch concrete. Don’t get a dog if you don’t have a couple acres.
- Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a leftist incel chaser
- It is genocide in Gaza. And I don’t really care?
- Go to college. Just go to College.
- “Movements” are not real. There are great men and there are followers. Talking about a “movement” is cope for followers who think they matter.
- Join the Catholic Church. Most important thing on the list!

- get married young, have as many children as you can
- have dogs, as
Many as possible
- the Charlie Kirk assassination narrative is obvious trash
- It IS genocide in Gaza. And it's appalling
- Don't go to college, unless you're learning a specific trade you're going to pursue
- America First is not his idea, and the movement isn't about him. Or any one individual
- embrace a Bible based church, and a heterosexual life-style
- use your extreme talents for good only.
Brisbane nationalism
Genuinely terrible advice. Every part.

Isn’t it more that posting on X “like some sort of influencer” is an affront to the dignity of the office?
Not that when you do so, people react in the normal way?
