After 6 weeks out of the driving seat, I’m back 🙌 I’m signed off fit to drive again with no medical restrictions, and feeling so much better in myself. Eased back in slowly with a trip to Derby and back on 222019 as 1F37 and 222012 as 1C59. Happy to be back doing what I love ✨

Absolutely brilliant day onboard the inaugural Lumo West Coast press run 🚆✨
What a journey it was! Amazing atmosphere onboard, great conversations throughout the day, and incredible to see so much enthusiasm for this brand new operation.
Days like this are always special, but this one meant even more. Watching @heather_waugh bring the train down from Stirling to Preston, spending time with some amazing people, and then welcoming my mum onboard at Crewe made it a day I’ll never forget 💙
