there is so much beauty in the world and some days all i want is to receive it in its totality. i think happiness is as simple as just being porous enough to let it all in and be changed by it

with the days getting colder, it makes me appreciate the nice days so much more. sitting outside with a little breeze and a warm sun feels like such a blessing.

getting the itch to go camping again, if only for the brief moment in the morning where you wake up outside and you don’t know where you are yet

it feels like the whole world is ready to be gathered in

a little patch of autumn underneath all that stone and sky

just had my first gust of wind that sent fallen leaves rushing around me and my heart fluttered with them

i think it’s important from time to time to look at the places we call home with fresh eyes, like you are visiting it for the first time. it helps remind us what first drew us to them and all the little things that keep us there.
