Freedom of the press is not a guaranteed seat in the White House. A press pass is a privilege, not a constitutional right.
CNN, MS NOW, and Politico can still report, criticize, and publish whatever they want. Nobody silenced their speech. Their access is being pulled.
A 1977 D.C. Circuit ruling says access can’t be yanked arbitrarily and requires due process. That is not the First Amendment, and it does not create a lifetime pass.
If outlets repeatedly publish what they know is untrue, losing the pass is fair. Americans deserve honest reporting, not partisan stories sold as news.
Report the truth or surrender the pass.

Bill Cassidy is no different than John Cornyn.
Both were rejected by their own voters.
Both are on their way out the door.
Both have spent so long in Washington that they mistake holding office for entitlement to it.
Now that voters have finally had enough, they’re reacting exactly as you’d expect: bitter, angry, and throwing tantrums because the gravy train is coming to an end.
Nothing is more dangerous than a politician who knows his political career is over.
