Researchers in @LongLab have proven in a model crop that an increase in mesophyll conductance can be engineered, & that it leads to an increase in photosynthesis.

I started my higher education at a community college when I was 29 years old. They accepted me, helped me find remedial courses (it had been awhile since high school!) and set me on the path to Professor. Thankful for community colleges every day! – at Florida, USA
