Kentucky opens SEC play at home this week against #12 Alabama. Will Stein and Kenny Minchey will both make their SEC debut as a double-digit underdog. Luckily, they will have star tight end Willie Rodriguez to rely on.
Rodriguez is a big-bodied tight end and Kentucky's best catcher. Last week against Youngstown State, Rodriguez caught four out of six targets for 48 yards. With an average depth of target of 9.3 yards on 16 routes.
Stein farms his TE’s - as Oregon's OC he found ways to get Kenyon Sadiq, Jamari Johnson, and Terrance Ferguson involved early and often. Has spoken at lengths about it getting Rod involved and being a key cog in their offensive machine. Don’t believe in any of these WR’s to consistently create separation, Rodriguez will dominate targets here.

The former G6 star at San Jose State is now the feature slot in the go-go offense under new OC Marrion. 88 Receptions, 1300 Yards, and 10 touchdowns a year ago. Posted an insane 2.56 Y/RR with a 12.6 aDOT / 14.8 YPC.
PFF had him leading the FBS in deep targets of 20+ yards with a 99.9 PFF grade on those looks, so he's not just a schemed-touch slot guy — vertical shot potential too
WR #1 in the Go Go under Marrion:
Ernest Campbell 2025: 37 / 755 / 8
Ricky White 2024: 79 / 1041 / 11
Ricky White 2023: 88 / 1483 / 8
Very low on Georgia Tech this season, this is their 4th DC in 4 seasons. They lost all 4 starters in the secondary who were all multi-year starters (3 went to the NFL).
Positive game script as a near touchdown dog with a total of 50.5 in Coach Prime’s return to the ATL … DO YOU BELIEVE?

CFB Week 1 Play #2 🏈
Ian Strong O 56.5 Receiving Yards (Cal) -114 FanDuel
Collab with @trillymoneyline 🧑🍳
With the departure of the two leading receivers for Cal last year, in Jesus and Grizzell, this leaves for a lot of openings in this Cal receiving core. Ian Strong, the 6’4 225 lb transfer out of Rutgers, is someone I believe can fill the gap of these two receivers this year for the Golden Bears. Had 52 catches for 762 yards in a much less air friendly offense as they have in Berkeley, also a huge quarterback upgrade in JKS.
Lines are a little off in my opinion, with JKS being lined up at 265 passing yards, where all the Cal receiving props are only adding up to 143, so great value in all his lines. When Cal threw for 225+ yards, a receiver had 57+ yards in 8/9 games, with the one miss being at 56 yards. JKS is also priced at 23.5 Completions, and with 18+ Completions, a receiver has had
6+ Rec : 11/12 games
7+ Rec 10/12 games
10+ Rec : 5/12 games
Strong with 6+ receptions cleared in 7/7 games in his career, 7+ 5/5, and with 7+ receptions, his lowest performance was 86 yards. Also worth noting that Dorian Thomas, their best pass catching tight end, has been ruled out for this game leaving more opportunities for Strong to catch the ball.
UCLA’s defense runs a two high and have decent corners. Hendricks is gonna run into some problems on the outside in my opinion. As a UCLA fan, you beat us through the middle, which Strong runs good amount through. That two high look combined with our backers being subpar leaves a bunch of space open in the middle to exploit. Love Strong this week, especially with this matchup.

CFB Week 0 is here and so is @CFFguys first #DraftKings Main Slate article for the 2026 season!
🎯 JAYDEN MAIAVA, USC VS SAN JOSE ST (DK: $9.0K | FD: $11.8K | O/U: 60.5 | IMPLIED: 49.5)
“Jayden Maiava is coming off a career season in which he threw for 3,711 yards and 24 touchdowns, and another big year could push him up NFL Draft boards. He leads the slate with a 26.1-point projection, while USC’s 49.5-point implied total is also the highest on the slate. San Jose State ranks last among the 14 defenses in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, giving Maiava an excellent matchup. The concern is his $9,000 salary combined with significant blowout potential, which could limit his fourth-quarter opportunities. Still, USC’s massive scoring expectation and the matchup give Maiava one of the strongest projections on the slate.”
