ALT A DUTIFUL PRINCESS’S HANDBOOK A Cozy Medieval Romantasy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days x Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses x The Princess Knight

ALT The Pitch: No one likes an arranged marriage, but when Prince Alaric is grounded from his adventures until he can find a bride, he accepts his fate and puts a ring on the first princess he can find. Princess Genevieve would rather marry a plant than a prince, so in a desperate attempt to make him call it off, she must become the most insufferable princess Alaric has ever had the displeasure of meeting. Yet as the wedding inches closer, and devious mental games are played, perhaps not all arrangements are as bad as they initially seem.

ALT The last rays of sunshine still linger over the garden as I clutch onto my skirts and haste across the lawn. And just as the sun sets I sink onto my knees before the statue of Inessa, folding my hands as I throw a last glance over my shoulder for any of my sisters. Then I purse my lips as I wait for the words to come, my head bowed in prayer. “Dear Inessa,” I start, and shudder at the sound of my own voice in the empty air. “Please don’t send me into a loveless marriage. I don’t want a life at court and I don’t want to meet a supposed soulmate today, so if you could just call it off an make sure it doesn’t—” “I knew I saw someone lurking around the corner.” I yelp as I spin around, fall over and scrape my palms on the cobblestone. A masculine chuckle chimes as I push away the curtain of hair before my eyes, my face heating with every note. “My apologies, I never meant to scare you, I simply saw someone rush by and had to know if I was missing out on anything.”

ALT A mock book cover with the title AMITY COVE against a theatre/circus background with glitter, a striped tent, a ribbon boarder, and a ballerina in pose standing in as the letter 'I'.

ALT A black, gold, and pink image with two figures in either corner, one of a performer hanging from a rope, the other of a cloaked figure in a bird skull mask. The text reads AMITY COVE, Pitch: When her little sister disappears at a haunted wharf,Everly's sworn enemy is the only person with a lead on her whereabouts. She must dig into the sordid past of her town for answers, but doing so could bury her sister for good. Praise: "It's a gripping story with awesome imagery and cool twists." C.C. "You have truly mastered the art of what it means to write a compelling thriller." K.C. "You had me hooked from page one." K.H. "WHAT A TWIST!" M.P.

ALT A black background with a multicolor circus tent. Five book covers in the foreground as comparable titles. The books pictured are Pretty Little Liars, The Thrashers, Beth is Dead, Don't Look Back, One of us is Lying.

ALT Two figures bordering text. One figure is a performer standing precariously on a perch, the other is hanging upside down from a hanging ribbon. The text reads: One, The carnival comes alive at night. That’s what the town of Amity Cove always said. Well, the superstitious faction of town…which was basically everyone. If you go to the wharf at midnight, (or one a.m., three, three-eleven, twilight, whatever) slip through the padlocked, salt-worn iron gate, and find your way through the concessions, game booths, twirling teacups, and twisting teddy bears, you’ll see the amphitheater. And in it, the performers: The Fool juggling in her leaflet skirts. Lady Justice walking the tightrope. The Hanged Man dangling by his toes with his top hat still perfectly in place on his upside-down head. If you go, you will see. So said the ghost tale of Weston’s Wharf, which was bullshit. I’d been to the wharf a dozen times and seen absolutely nothing. No lights, no music, no sense of being watched.

ALT The pitch of THISTLEWOOD: When her sister disappears while seeking a new position, Peregrine Dale tracks her to the decaying Thistlewood Estate. Entrapped by a manor of shifting doors and puppet-like ghosts, she must navigate the psychological games of the manor’s elusive mistress to uncover the family secrets and festering rot hiding beneath the house’s genteel facade.

ALT A three-by-three board with nine squares. The first row consists of a close-up of a golden clock, a female statue parting her chest, and a moon against the night sky. The second row consists of a red and black photo of raised arms and hands, a dark wood with what appears to be gleaming eyes in the center of the darkness, and a close-up of storm clouds. The third row consists of a red rose, a road in a foggy, forested area, and a close-up of a spiderweb.

ALT PITCH Sent to a private retreat aimed to cure girls' improper dietary behaviours after loosing both her parents, Eve joins five other women long isolated to be taught how to fix their appetites. But as isolation breeds intimacy, the line between feeding and being fed begins to blur - until tasting food, resentment, and one another, fuels a disturbing, and somehow violent need to consume girlhood on their own terms.
