I had a wonderful conversation with @mayowaoshin a month ago to talk about some of the key challenges in productionizing LLM apps. Summarizing some key insights below 👇:
💡The universal pain point that all LLM devs are facing is reducing hallucination/failures and improving response accuracy
💡Observability is a start, but it’s not the complete solution: what users need is 1) diagnosis of problems, and 2) solutions to fix these problems
💡A lot of RAG failures are related to retrieval failures over large document corpuses
💡It would be awesome to have a “magic button” that can automate experimentation/prompt/retrieval improvements
💡Scalability / privacy are also big pain points that users are facing (esp among larger co’s).
