No Temple, No Tithe Leviticus 27:30-32: “A tenth of everything from the land… belongs to Yahweh.”    Deuteronomy 14:22-27: Take that tenth to “the place Yahweh chooses,” eat it, celebrate, and include the Levite, widow, and orphan. If it’s too far, sell it, bring the silver, and buy whatever you need there to celebrate. Even liquor is on the list. Key details everyone skips:  1️⃣ What: Crops, wine, oil, cattle — things that grow from the land. Not cash. 2️⃣ Where: One specific place Yahweh chose. The Temple. 3️⃣ Who: Levites who had no land inheritance (Joshua 13:14). Their job was the Tabernacle. Numbers 18:26-30 was their paycheck: food. 4️⃣ Why: Provision for widows, orphans, and festivals. Not salaries or buildings. So what changed?  The Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, exactly as prophesied.  The place Yahweh put His name is not on earth right now.  Revelation 21 says it returns when New Jerusalem comes down.    The Levitical priesthood ended. Hebrews is clear: the sacrificial system ended with Yeshua of Nazareth.  Most of us no longer live off land and livestock. We live off paychecks. What did Paul teach the nations?  ✅ Galatians 6:5: “Each one should carry his own load.”  ✅ 1 Thessalonians 4:11: “Work with your own hands… so you will not be dependent on anyone.”  ✅ Acts 18:3: He made tents.  ✅ 2 Thessalonians 3:8: “We worked night and day so we would not be a burden.”  He accepted support when it was freely offered (Philippians 4:15-16), but he refused to turn ministry into a business. 1 Corinthians 9:18: “So that I may not use up my rights in preaching the gospel.”  Here’s the contradiction I can’t get past: Pastors who say “The Law is dead” will turn around and enforce Malachi 3:10 for 10% of your income.  Pastors who claim the “Levite” role often own land, houses, and 501(c) organizations. The biblical Levites owned nothing. I’m not saying don’t be generous. Scripture is full of it: cheerful giving, caring for widows and orphans, supporting those who teach (2 Corinthians 9:7).  I’m saying: stop calling it “tithe” and pretending it’s a command from Torah when there is no Temple, no Levites, and no land-based economy. We have responsibility. We have generosity. We have work.  What we don’t have is a scriptural basis to tax God’s people 10% of their wages for a man-made institution. Until New Jerusalem comes down, I’ll follow Paul’s model: work, give cheerfully, and meet needs directly.  Not out of guilt. Out of obedience.

It stretches everything at the poles—Greenland looks the size of Africa. Reality: Africa is 14x bigger than Greenland. Put it on a human head and his ears become the size of continents. 2. It makes the equator look tiny. Countries near the equator get shrunk. Countries far from it get blown up. So your whole sense of "big vs small" is backwards. 3. We used it in school for 100 years. Now 3 generations think Russia is bigger than all of Africa. And think Canada is a continent.

The Case of Alexander Gleason and the Map They Don't Want You To Read There’s a name that keeps popping up in flat earth debates: Alexander Gleason. And there’s an argument that keeps getting recycled: "Gleason wasn’t a flat earther. Just look at his 1892 map patent. It’s a projection of a globe." There’s just one problem. Gleason wrote a book. 1. The Book vs The Meme In 1893, one year after his famous map patent, Alexander Gleason published: "Is the Bible from Heaven? Is the Earth a Globe?" You can argue about projections all day. You can’t argue with his own words: "The earth is a plane... the sun and moon and stars revolve around over the earth." That’s not a footnote. That’s his thesis. The entire book is a defense of Scripture as the authority for cosmology. So why do people insist he was a "glober"? Because they read the Wikipedia summary, not the 200 pages he actually wrote. 2. The Map Was a Tool. The Book Was His Belief. Yes, Gleason patented a map. Cartographers make projections. That’s their job. But Gleason didn’t patent a theology. He wrote one. And in that theology, the Bible came first. Gen 1:6-8 — The Firmament Psalm 104:5 — Earth set on foundations Isaiah 40:22 — The circle of the earth Joshua 10:13 — The sun stood still For Gleason, the question wasn’t "what does science say?" The question was: "Is the Bible from Heaven?" If yes, then we let Scripture interpret the world. Not the other way around. 3. Conviction You Can’t Fake You don’t write a book like this for clout. In 1893 that got you mocked, not monetized. Gleason debated, lectured, and published because he believed the Bible and science had to agree. And if they didn’t, he believed the problem was with "science", not Scripture. You may disagree with his conclusions. But it’s hard to deny his conviction. He put “Scientifically & Practically Correct” on his map. 4. The Test Next time someone tells you "Gleason wasn’t a flat earther"... Ask them one question: "Which chapter did you read?" If the answer is "I saw the map" —they haven’t read the book. 1 Thess 5:21 —Prove all things. Hold fast to what is good. That includes checking the sources. The book exists. The words are there. Read them.

True, ever-growing, unbreakable peace? Never once. But this isn't a failed prophecy—it's a coming reality.
