Trump’s dominant win record and prolific endorsement slate is nothing new: He’s endorsed more candidates in each cycle since 2018, and at least 94% of his endorsees have won their primaries in every cycle since 2020.

Trump’s endorsement was still a powerful asset in GOP primaries. But some of his picks have left Republicans with general-election headaches. They’ll face a bigger test next week. Had a great time working with @meredithconroy_ on this! Full analysis: blog.fiftyplusone.news/p/tru…

96% of Trump’s primary endorsees won their primaries in 2026 — just 11 of 267 lost. But what was behind those numbers? And what did the losers have in common? (Hint: 5 of them were running for governor.) 🧵Full analysis at @50plus1news blog.fiftyplusone.news/p/tru…

Progressives’ big year in primaries, by the numbers: nearly 8 in 10 candidates backed by a major progressive group won their primaries, and more than 25 new progressives are favored to win seats in Congress next month 🧵Full analysis at @50plus1news blog.fiftyplusone.news/p/pro…

Mid-year fundraising snapshot: Progressive-backed nominees in competitive seats lagged trailed their GOP opponents (many of them incumbents) by an average of $690,000. They'll be looking to raise a lot more or attract outside spending down the stretch.

DDHQ spoke w/ @50plus1news's Primary Project about which groups have been successful in 2026. It's can be hard to register how well groups like AIPAC have done — not always clear who they support, though they may oppose someone, like Tom Malinowski in February #NJ11 special.

Pro-Israel groups: Candidates’ stances on Israel were a huge flashpoint in Democratic primaries. Groups like AIPAC and DMFI played offense and defense, spending big money to defend against progressive challengers and weigh in on crowded open races, with mixed results. 7/x
