I think I speak for everyone when I say "@AnthropicAI , fuck you and the horse you rode in on." I don't personally care about doing video game rewrites myself. But the whole concept that some busybody can tell me what I may not do with the tool I am paying for is deeply offensive. You will be replaced by open-weight and open-source models. Every asshole move like this makes you more enemies and brings that day closer.
ANTHROPIC IS CRACKING DOWN ON VIDEO GAME REWRITES 🚨 Claude Code picked up a new rule around Oct 27, sent from Anthropic’s servers under a flag called "tengu_heron_brook". There’s no setting to turn it off. The full rule: “Do build original games, games in a genre, and games from the user’s own designs and assets. Don’t build a recreation of a specific existing game, even if it is renamed or called original.” Is this the end of game rewrites, modding and everything in between?

Humans are a pack animal. This may be hard to understand if you are evangelical and think the book of genesis is literal rather than allegorical, but humans are a pack animal. What this means is that the human desire for the acceptance and support of a tribe is as fundamental as the desire for food, for air, for water, for sex, for sunlight, for love. If you tell young men that they cannot have a tribe, they're not going to accept that. Ever. Especially if you tell that only to the young men of one tribe in particular. They're going to wonder why everybody gets to have a tribe and they don't. And they're eventually going to decide that you are the enemy. Because you are. Anyone who stands between young men and what they need for a healthy, fulfilled life is their enemy. That includes you. And if you manage to convince them that god doesn't want them to have a tribe, it will also include god. The more you push back against their healthy and natural desire for a tribe, a homeland, and a birthright, the more they will hate you, and the more exclusive their definition of that tribe will become. There is no way you can stop this. The only thing you can control is how far they have to go, how radical they have to become, in order to get it. Because this can go all the way from enforcing immigration law, and shutting down corrupt visa programs right now, to gangs of young White men in balaclavas with Ar15s going door to door ten years from now. We have to do something about the 14th amendment. I don't care if that makes you uncomfortable or unhappy. It's not a choice. The constitution exists to serve Americans, not the other way around. If that sentence confuses you, read the first paragraph of the constitution. If we do not, young men of the future, the same little boys who are being radicalized right now by your malicious indifference, will treat a piece of paper that says they cannot have a homeland the way they would treat a piece of paper that says that can't eat food, or a piece of paper that says they can't own a home, or have a wife and children. You may think that you offer them a tribe in the form of the universal kingdom of god, the community of all believers, but that's just a word game and you know it, which is why you are so defensive about the whole thing. Where was the universal community of believers when these young men needed help? When they needed not just the surface appearance of a tribe, but someone to do the things that tribes actually do for younger generations they care about? The pack serves a concrete set of functions in the life cycle of the human species, and you cannot perform those functions with a cardboard cutout. Young men are sick of religion that offers them responsibilities with no rights, lectures with no help, demands with no love or empathy. It's odd, in a way ironic, that, I, the man of zero faith, should have to be the one standing here telling self-styled religious leaders how they failed both their people and their god. But having no faith does give me one advantage. It frees me from the delusion that Jesus is a puppet that I can pull out of my pocket, slip over my right hand, move his mouth and make him say what I want. I used to wonder, as a child, what the phrase "taking the name of the lord in vain" actually meant. But I no longer wonder, because when I became a man, I looked around me and saw all these people who talk to god and somehow get told exactly what they want to hear. Then I understood that the key phrase here wasn't "in vain". It was "taking". Taking the name of god and using it as a tool for one's own goals. Joel, here, is sad that his friend is getting sent home. This personally inconveniences both him and his friend, which effects Joel in a way that young men being denied their birthright does not. So he finds an interpretation of scripture that says that god wants him, Joel Berry, to get his way, and that god wants all the young men who want a homeland and a birthright to go get fucked. I'm not terribly impressed.

If this is the excuse Brussels need to turn the ship around, I personally don't much care. It's hard to do a 180 on failed policies. Maybe they can also blame anti-nuclear sentiments on the KGB and GDPR bureaucraziness on CIA while at it? Let's just clear the whole plate.
🇪🇺🇷🇺 Ursula von der Leyen says RUSSIA IS USING MASS MIGRATION as a weapon against EUROPE The EU chief accuses Russia of deliberately pushing migrants toward European borders to overwhelm authorities, spread fear and divide the continent. She now wants new emergency powers to deal with these situations. Brussels has SPENT YEARS defending migration and asylum as part of Europe's values. Now it's warning that hostile governments can exploit those same systems to destabilize Europe. Completely ridiculous. And pretty revealing who is actually behind it all... Writer: Oliver

"You're an American if you love America, share its founding ideals, and prefer its way of life! That is all that's required!" "Hold on a second. Are we actually requiring any of those things?" "What?" "Like, can we revoke people's citizenship and kick them out if they don't love America?" "No! Of course not! That would violate the first amendment!" "How about if they don't share the ideals of its founders?" "No! First amendment!" "How about if they don't adopt or practice the American way of life, or don't even bother to learn English?" "No, you bigot! First amendment!" "Can we deny or revoke citizenship to anyone, in any way, based on any ideological test or public expression of feelings or opinions?" "No, that would be literally fascism. What's wrong with you?" "So what you're saying is that an American identity exists, we're just not allowed to test for it in any way, or exclude those who don't have it?" "Now you finally get it!"
What makes you American isn't how long your family has been here or what your ancestors did. Nor is it just whether you live here or are a citizen. It's how much you love our country, share its Founding ideals, & prefer its way of life to that of any other place. Our heritage as Americans is its ideas & culture, not its bloodlines.

Correct. This won’t be popular among most tech people but it is the right thing to do for the national interest and self-preservation of the republic.

Investors like Paul want the immigration debate to be strictly polar because it is the only way their traitorous ideas might seem reasonable. They paint one side as racist, backwards, economically illiterate absolutists and the other as enlightened, growth-minded cosmopolitian realists. Support for laws that protect American citizens can be dismissed as uneducated, anyone who hires immigrants or foreigners in any capacity a hypocrite. American law should, and does, advantage American citizens. We should not have to compete on an even playing field with billions of people who almost universally don't share our values or respect our institutions, even if they are "the most qualified" or willing to work double the hours for the same wages. The men running Operation Paperclip did not think Americans should have to compete with the entire Third World, they understood that a carefully controlled amount of highly-skilled expert immigration is net good for America even when allegience is in question. It is worth noting that even on a purely economic level, ignoring all burdens of loyalty or allegiance to your countrymen and treating America as nothing but an economic activity zone, it still doesn't make sense to say without qualification that foreigners should get any job where they are more qualified than their American counterpart. As just one easy example out of dozens, about 20% of immigrants return home after less than five years, taking all their savings and vested shares with them. Another 20% will leave within ten years, doing the same. All the while, they will wire, on average, ~15% of their wages out of the United States economy every month. Some occupations and origins average 30%! The idea that this should be completely ignored with regard to employment and immigration policy is rampant among the same people who tell you with a straight face that limits on immigrants will destroy the American economy, that the dumb rednecks need to be saved. I lean very libertarian and have strongly supported immigration to America for many years with countless public examples. That doesn't put me on the same side as the men who want to sell out America, and no amount of long-past accomplishment obliges any of us to listen to their lectures from the other side of the Atlantic.

Allow region-blocking. 90% of Twitter's algorithm problems would disappear if my feed didn't include African and Indian scammers pretending to be middle-class Americans or posting bait or stolen tweets.
I’m going to answer this claim that “X is turning into TikTok” one time only: • Posts containing videos already make up close to half the impressions on X • Many videos from top accounts are simply stolen from other users, sometimes 5 years after they originally went viral. • Our team believes this recycled content has a negative impact on the user experience and the business. • For the first time, we are providing a functional video editor so some videos on X can finally be original content that doesn’t exist on other platforms If you are a creator that does not recycle other people’s content, you have the biggest arbitrage opportunity of your career to build an audience here. The algorithm may take time to recognize you, but when it does, you will climb faster than other account on this app.

Henry Nowak died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit. His murder is as tragic as it is enraging. He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it. Henry was far from the first to so needlessly lose his life, and I fear he won’t be the last. Each time a life like his is lost, the proper response—the only response—is righteous anger. One of the most important things the Trump administration has proven to the world is that stopping the flow of mass migration and defending national sovereignty is a matter of political will and leadership. Anything else is an excuse. It is because we love the West that we want to preserve it. We love our civilization. We love our country. We love our children. And nobody—nobody—should ever die the way that Henry Nowak died. May God comfort those who loved him, and may God rest his soul.
In his final moments, Henry Nowak told police officers nine times “I can’t breathe” and four times that he had been stabbed. In response police officer dragged him across the gravel, handcuffed and read him his rights. It was the last thing Henry heard before he died.

This is a severely underestimated fulcrum point in American history. During the nineties there was a great societal upheaval over mass migration. California voters, in the face of an onslaught of media demonization, acted to save their state by passing Prop 187 to end all public benefits for illegals. It was one of the most potent examples of popular democracy defeating entrenched corruption. It captivated the attention of the entire nation. Millions and millions of Californians voted to recapture their destiny. The proposition passed in a landslide. It was enjoined by a District Court judge IMMEDIATELY and remained enjoined permanently. Illegals continued flooding the state, consuming benefits, a Democrat (Gray Davis) won the next election and entered into a court settlement to halt the law forever.
Your reminder that 60% of Californians voted to strip illegals of taxpayer funded programs and a judge said no.

I see many attaq Yarvin for his observation there will not be revolution or armed conflict even in the case of mega-mass-migration if the left comes to power. This is ofc true because no efforts have been made to organize any such: the pretense on all sides is that "someone else" will spontaneously "rise up." But if that happens it's called a jacquerie and it's always quickly put down. Eva (who should be fucking strong handsome youth on camera HD in tropical locations while she still can) tried her hand at being the propagandist of an unarmed jacquerie in Holland, where the truckers, etc. "rose up"; as in the case of the Yellow Vests in France it led to nothing much. Elon on here I think is without any bad intentions also promoting this same idea, that if he "raises awareness" of bad things, this abstraction called "the people" (which doesn't exist) will rise up in response. It's always someone else you see. Some time ago I pointed out that hysterical claims from various conservative pundits that "the Demoncraps all want to kill you!!" were the same kind of boilerplate slamming of the cane on the floor that GOP propagandists have harmlessly done for decades. If you really believed 70 million people want to kill you, you wouldn't behave the way you do Here are three proposals I made long ago, which I could in these cases make explicitly and not in code because there's nothing off-limits. A network of Trumpist unions, coordinated by a new office attached to the White House or in agreement with; a mobilization and organization of West Virginia coal miners with command structure by Trump org people, maybe out of WH...2 hours' drive from DC, who could be deployed for powerful protests to put pressure on factions, groups and individuals in that city. These both have recent precedent effective use in other countries. OTOH if you really believed that tens of millions are plotting to kill you, as Matt Walsh and other yelling conservative pundits do, you would be advocating for the erection of People's Defense of the Revolution units, again with hierarchical chain of command structure provided by people close to Trump, to organize the friendly armed men in neighborhoods around America in self-defense formations, especially those at high risk in "red" counties of blue states. If you say that I'm an East Bloc crazy and this isn't "in the American tradition," you could call them something far more polite, like neighborhood homeowners' readiness associations for the protection of democratic values, or whatever. Of course none of this was done, nor attempted, nor will be. Don't fool yourselves. Trump is a great man. The people around him mostly want media careers. PS My function here is only as a commentator and humor account. But a lot of others seriously believe themselves to be political actors, or confuse matters to make you think they are...
He's right. Half the country claps like seals for it, we have no serious political opposition to it, and even with "our guy" in office we still have a foreign country running our tech sector. Yarvin being a Jew doesn't make him wrong. He is making a true & very bleak observation
