I used to be an albums-only guy, then I was a radio DJ for 3 years and learned about all the great music that doesn’t really exist or make sense as part of an album

Even after the so-called ceasefire in Gaza, the bombing may stop for a moment, but the pain, so carefully crafted, continues to silently steal our children's childhoods.
Please, imagine for a moment that my four-year-old daughter, Mirna, is your daughter or your little sister. Imagine a child this young waking up in pain and going to sleep in agony, while lack of money prevents her from receiving treatment.
In Gaza, where even drinking water causes severe tooth decay, Mirna's back molars were destroyed, and she now has three teeth that urgently need root canals.
What might be a simple problem for a child elsewhere in the world has turned into months of relentless daily pain and suffering for a little girl whose only fault is being born in Gaza, amidst war, siege, and a complete lack of medical care.
I write this now, looking at her, completely unable to raise the $400 needed to cover the cost of her treatment and relieve her of this pain that haunts her day and night without mercy.
All I can do is plead with your kind hearts, hoping you will help my child in any way you can.
Please, I beg you, don't leave my child to face this pain alone. Donate what you can, and help us by sharing our appeal so it reaches someone who can save her from this suffering. 🙏

Mirna is a little girl who deserves to live her childhood free from pain, tears, and fear.😔

i dont think ppl grasp that the majority of mining done in Congo & Sudan is artisanal (& no that isnt a cutesy term for "boutique.") it means ppl (incl. children) w/ rudimentary tools & bare hands coming into contact w/ dangerous chemicals so ppl can have a laptop or a necklace.
