I'm not doing blame game b/c it doesn't matter. The electorate, knowing full well who Trump was and what he stood for was like "yes, four more years of this." I have to accept it. I don't like it, it goes against everything I believe in - morally, philosophically, and politically

Trump was absolutely right about who we are as a nation. Absolutely fucking right. We are exactly as shitty as he told us we are.
Democrats need to learn this.
Well I am disappointed and scared for this country, my family and friends, and the future. I will never understand it and I’m tired of fighting.
lol
a voter in North Carolina tells CNN he wasn't going to vote but did when his girlfriend told him if he didn't vote for Harris she would break up with him
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
In the same clip, he states that he lied about his girlfriend telling him to vote.

are we playing each other @OliviaDEvans? I'm not a huge college football follower because IU always sucks lol! @Nolebucgrl can you explain here? What does this mean? Is it set or just like a ranking or something?

Across the Hoosier state, Harris is running 3-5% ahead of Biden 2020. That's a big deal. In rural Allen county, for example, Trump won by 11 points in 2020. Tonight Trump is winning the bright red county by 4. Yowza. #BlueWaveRising #Election2024
Maybe I should take back my tweet that Trump will win Indiana? In Hamilton county (a bell-weather) Trump won 53-47 in 2020, Harris is winning 50-48. The vote totals so far will keep the networks from calling Indiana for a while. That itself is shocking. #Election2024

Signature match is antiquated and stupid and from an era when people signed physical checks all the time. It's insane that we are using this "technology" in 2024.
Nevada’s secretary of state, seeing high number of rejected ballots in Clark and Washoe, says one of the biggest issues is that the signatures of younger voters don’t always match what’s on their driver’s licenses:
“It’s mostly the fact that young people don’t have signatures these days. And when they did register to vote through the automatic voter registration process, they signed a digital pad at D.M.V., and that became their license signature.”

The GOP is talking about stealing an election if they do not like the outcome. Ignoring the votes that were cast is anti-democracy. Anti-American to its core.
If former President Donald Trump does not win the election, some House Republicans are privately preparing “to possibly contest the election in Congress, to block the certification,” @costareports reports.
