My dear friends and fellow radicals, the day finally came where I'm genuinely in need of one of these. I aimed for the least amount to get us over the hump. Any help would be appreciated, especially in sharing this. Pray much and suffer well 💪⚜️ gofund.me/56f2dcd37

LATEST: Scott Colom's lead over Cindy Hyde-Smith has jumped to 2,498 votes in Mississippi's U.S. Senate race, further dimming the incumbent Republicans' paths to reclaim lost ground. "This election is not over," Hyde-Smith's campaign says. mississippifreepress.org/rol…

This is the shittiest fucking take to ever have. EVER. It’s ABUSIVE. Meghan has stated too many times that her father is estranged. She has no contact and has had no contact. Focus on Andrew’s sex trafficking. You disgusting freaks.

Colom continues to expand his lead. Mississippi has no automatic recount, but he has a good chance of finishing more than half a point ahead anyways, beyond the recount threshold in most states.
MS U.S. Senate Bolivar County New Votes: 🔵 Colom +184 (74.2%) 🔴 Hyde-Smith +61 (24.6%) Colom now leads Hyde-Smith by 1,936 votes statewide, according to the AP.

In the last 20 hours you have posted three times pitting this as a binary ideological battle between the moderate/establishment “faction” and the progressive/leftist “faction.” So either you were being disingenuous then, or you are being disingenuous now. There is no third thing. You said that since progressive candidates perform led slightly worse than moderate ones — which on balance is accurate but there are many exceptions (including Randy Villegas) and race/candidate/cycle-specific factors at play in individual races that you intentionally and irresponsibly choose to ignore — the party shouldn’t listen to their advice on how to win. Even though the objectively successful “fusion” message employed by the Ossoffs and Talaricos of the world adopted a lot of the economic populist messaging honed by the progressive-left over the last decade or so. And you basically said that anyone that disagrees with you is just stupid (a lot of what ails the left “stems from poor epistemic practices”). I want a party that takes good ideas for all corners of the party (including moderates!). All of this is incredibly nuanced, but you are — and have been, even in the weeks leading up to the election — trying to lay the groundwork for a blunt and deeply unsophisticated “us vs. them” dynamic that serves nobody but people like you who want clicks on your Substack (and any corporate clients you have that would benefit from said debate/outright moderation on policy). You took like a campaign tactic in popularism — which at a base level makes sense — and have contorted it into an entire ideology. It’s just poll- and focus-group tested centrism with no room for outside the box thinking, which — as anyone who has worked in politics or campaigns can attest — is not always the optimal strategy! And I say this as a longtime pollster and focus group moderator!
I 100 percent agree with Litman. Rather than moderates (boo! hiss!) voters are looking for people who solve problems (there's a whole problem solvers caucus!) and who say things they agree with. It's all about schmoderation. slowboring.com/p/shmoderatio…

The first two bills I will be filing this session are both by members who have ascended to higher callings. Jon Rosenthal’s bill banning the practice of child marriage in Texas and James Talarico’s bill that would grant pregnant women the right to a divorce - because right now they cannot legally get divorced while pregnant, even if they are the victim of domestic violence.

Last night saw some of the greatest progressive victories in modern American history. All across the country, in rural and urban areas, Americans said NO to oligarchy, and YES to an agenda that fights for the working class. Congratulations to the following candidates: U.S. SENATE Abdul El-Sayed (MI) Peggy Flanagan (MN) Troy Jackson (ME) U.S. HOUSE Bob Brooks (PA-7) Rebecca Cooke (WI-3) Sam Forstag (MT-1) Adam Hamawy (NJ-12) Melat Kiros (CO-1) Brad Lander (NY-10) Will Lawrence (MI-7) Donavan McKinney (MI-13) Brian Poindexter (OH-7) Analilia Mejía (NJ-11) Claire Valdez (NY-07) Randy Villegas (CA-22) Aisha Wahab (CA-14)
