NEW: Los Angeles County elections officials confirm in court filing that they have no way to verify U.S. citizenship for voters and they rely solely on a voter’s attestation when they check yes or no to being a U.S. citizen under penalty of perjury. This is part of ongoing lawsuit w/ Feds.
Massive concession: Los Angeles election officials just told a federal court they have no independent way to verify citizenship beyond what voters attest. (They simply take their word for it.) Under federal law, only citizens may vote in federal elections. Yet California has not acted on the list of 20,000 suspected noncitizens or agreed to set aside their ballots. American citizens’ votes are being diluted in California.

By far the most extensive damage I have come across from Hurricane #Isaias is in Milton, Florida. An entire roof of an apartment complex with residents inside was torn off and thrown with multiple other nearby buildings missing roofs and severe damage while the High School Gymnasium roof was also damaged extensively and downed trees liter the city. Crazy to think the last time I was in this town, it was snowing! #FLwx

Not sure if everyone realizes this but Waffle House closings are a really big deal. This is a company that prides themselves on keeping these locations open 24/7.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has recommended — and President Donald J. Trump has approved — death by U.S. Army firing squad for convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, the jihadist who opened fire on unarmed American soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009. He killed 13 people and wounded 32 others while shouting “Allahu Akbar” during the attack.
The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution. Judgement day for Hasan has finally come.
