It's high time the @MoCA_GoI and @DrSJaishankar intervened. 300 people have been stranded in a foreign country for more than 24 hours, several senior citizens among them and it's terribly worrisome.

Few of us also received a mail confirming the that the flight to Delhi will be in the evening. But again, no surety from the airport official at the Air India counter.

And many are at the airport, waiting for the Delhi bound flight for 6 pm, which the customer service is not sure will be on time.

We were brought to the airport after being assured that there will be a scheduled flight to Delhi. On reaching, we aren't assured of anything. My flight to Kochi has been confirmed via Bangalore.#AI162

Not sure of the number of passengers. But there is no information of any kind being passed on how they intend to rectify the delay. The flight also services several elderly. Despicable.

For anyone who follows me, please retweet my previous tweet about Air India. We are still going through gross human rights violations. We are still stuck at Heathrow and have limited freedom.
Keeping over 300 passengers onboard for over 6 hours, ignoring their helpless cries! What happened on IA 162 today was abominable! Shame on @airindiain for their inhuman behaviour and shame on @AirCanada for supporting such an unprofessional airline!
