Greetings Country Men and women, @UNSAOfficial avails the 37th election roadmap for the upcoming UNSA Elections under the office of the Speaker. All Institutions are reminded to subscribe in time and register their delegates as per the dates indicated in the roadmap.
Indeed there is need for universities and institutions to strengthen protection policies for female students such that they feel safe and secure while pursuing their studies. @Educ_SportsUg
Members of Parliament have called on Makerere University to strengthen protection policies for female students amid allegations of sexual harassment at the institution.
Kabarole District Woman MP Annet Pamela Kirungi said parents send their children to the university expecting them to study in a safe environment.
In response, the University's Secretary, Yusuf Kiranda, who led a team before the Committee on Public Accounts - Central Government, said the institution has zero tolerance for sexual harassment and established procedures to investigate complaints.

Today, after class, I engaged Guild leadership on the urgent need for COLLECTIVE VOICES in student leadership.
Political divisionism has weakened our unity, diluted our bargaining power, and limited our influence in national policy discussions. We cannot continue speaking in fragments and expect to command national attention!
It is time to rise above political affiliations, unite around students’ interests, and transform our collective voice into a force that shapes policy, leadership, and Uganda’s future.
Different ideologies. One student voice. Collective power for change!
