Saturday shifts again! We thought we’d break up the rainy day with some BTS photos of places you might not have had the chance to see while we do our building checks. We’ll start with a wee look at some of the Gilbert Scott Building – AKA 'The Big Hoose!' #UofG" 🏰
Here at @uofgsecurity we were saddened to learn that we lost Jack the Peregrine.
Here are happier times a few days ago when Security staff assisted getting Victor back home in his first bid for freedom.

This afternoon we are at our Garscube Campus, to remember our @uofgsecurity colleagues - Bernie Martin & William Horner - sadly, both passed away very suddenly last year. A cherry tree was planted in their memory. Both are very much missed by us all 💔

WEATHER WARNING UPDATE ⚠️
Following the @metoffice Red weather warning being lifted, we are expecting to be able to open some UofG buildings from tomorrow (Saturday) morning, including @uofglibrary, JMSLH and the Stevenson Building. Please check your email for more info.
Any classes scheduled over the weekend have been relocated to the JMSLH. For further information about these, please contact your course coordinator.
All buildings across our campuses should be open as normal for teaching and other activities on Monday 27 January.
Please note that Amber and Yellow weather warnings remain in place tonight and over the weekend, so please continue to take extra care. There may also be continued disruption to transport networks over the weekend, so check before travelling.
Thanks to all UofG colleagues who have been supporting safety and security on campus today and over the course of this weekend. 🙏
And remember you can download the UofG SafeZone app for safety updates and alerts.
Take care and stay safe #TeamUofG. #StormEowyn
